The "Nano" Flash (SKU: FNTNF) is an ultra compact digital slave strobe and underwater protective housing kit. The strobe unit triggers in sync with the digital cameras internal flash by a small light sensor in the strobe body. Comments about Fantasea Fantasea Nano Double Pro Set #2077:
External Flashes will bring new color to tired blue pictures.I own 2 Nano's and a double set from Fantasea. I have been satisfied with the quality of the strobes. Synchronization uses a Fiber Optic cable which syncs with your camera's built in flash, which means it's almost universally compatible. Difficulty in syncing the flash depends on your camera case. I was unable to slave one flash off of the other, so I must connect both strobes to my camera case. This required modifying the adapters (picture attached) as I could squeeze to adapters to the small case.I am able to take about 50 pictures before changing batteries. Depending on dive length I may have to change during surface interval. I recommend turning the strobes off on the surface as it drains battery quickly if left on.[...].Camera bag is nice quality (though zipper's a little funny) Plenty of pockets and water resistent.Nano flashlight is neat and great for focusing in low-light situations, though not needed otherwise. It has a sensor which shuts the light off briefly during the strobe, though it doesn't always work. However, strobe light is powerful enough to drown out focus light anyway. I mostly use it as spair battery storage during daylight dives.
