For POWER ON the camera under water, you must press play button 2 second and after select: video or photo mode. Great Housing!

I bought Fantasea camera casing to save about $100. It was a mistake. First of all the depth range is not the best possible - and I would bring much more interesting stuff from my dives over 130 ft. Second of all - there is no on/off button, so you need to start your camera through play button and then wait for auto switch off, which means: if you set the switch off time too short - it will off the camera in the middle of recording a movie. If you set it long - say goodbye to your batteries after one dive and always have the second set. Third of all - I never went over the depth limit, but the casing started developing some crecks around the buttons. Don't buy it - go for Ikelite - you will save money, save your camera and have more fun. Ikelite is more bulky though.

For the most part the housing has been O.K. However I have had some problems with it. I do alot of diving in cooled water, creeks and lakes.
I have problems with the housing fogging up and making condensation inside the housing. (Not leaking just fogging up) This worries me becuse of how sensitive digital cameras are to moister!! Also there is no baton on the housing enabling you to turn on the camera while it is in the housing. There for you have to open the housing, turn on the camra and lock it back in. Which means that if you have your camera set for a shut off time limit you better hope that you don't exceed it when your in the water or you will be up you know what creek without a paddle. Besides those things I have had alot of fun with my camra and the housing.
