Comments about Epoque Epoque Underwater LED 1W Dive Light (FLED1WR):

While this flashlight does not compete with the bigger, more expensive dive lights, it produces a significant amount of light for its size and makes for a good "travel size" light to take on trips or to keep in your dive bag. Battery life is good.

A useful feature, at least for me, is the flashing mode. This allows the unit to serve a dual purpose as a locator beacon on my PFD when I go sailing at night.

One down side is that the on/off switch cannot be "locked" and could be accidentally turned on if the unit rubs against something in your bag. I used a rubber band to prevent this from happening.

A minor inconvenience was that the instructions were printed entirely in Japanese. Fortunately, the unit is very simple to use and the instructions aren't necessary.

Overall, this appears to be a solid unit and I'm pleased with my purchase.
