[...] Now the product, I like it, does the job, but...plastic is good in some places but not in others: the buckle for example, this thing does never have to be made from plastic. I wonder how much time will it last, maybe a one or two years with very gentle manipulation... the same I have to say about buttons's external covers, and one last and very important thing: no base for lenses, all these issues turns this product in a very basic option.

This baby has all the functional controls that your camera uses. Also great to use in the snow, on the beach, in the rain, etc.Extremely satisfied I bought the right product that is so versatile.

I used this housing in Grenada in July 2007 for the first time. No problems. Shot lots of photos with my Canon A610. The diffuser is not fixed to the housing so you have to hold onto it if you drop into the water holding the camera. Otherwise, can't find too many faults with this housing.

I bought this to take to the BVI. it was mostly used for video with a canon A620 with a 2gb card-full sreen at 30fps=17.5 minutes of vid per dive. Dumped the card after every dive. Follow the instructions! rtfm (read the freaking manual!) practice assembling the housing. tested in 110gal fishtank before taking to openwater. grease the gasket, dunk test before diving and you'll get great results on every dive! I didn't get the internal weights. used the strap and attached to d-ring. tucked in bc pocket til I needed to use it. my thinking was it would be easier to find floating at the surface than on the bottom.
