These 500 Lumen lights include 3 high output 5 Watt LEDs that deliver brilliant luminosity. These 8 AA battery LED lights are housed in anodized aluminum bodies, include rotary magnetic switch (which eliminates flooding through the switch) with High and low output modes, come equipped with lantern handle and additional camera ball mounting bracket which are easily changed by the user.

- High Output 3 X 5 Watt LED system delivers brilliant luminosity and generates a burn time that is 4 times that of the ordinary halogen light. The 6500K white light reflects true vibrant colors underwater. Light efficiency is equivalent to a 25 watt halogen bulb. LED bulbs rated at 50,000 hour burn time reducing bulb replacements.
- Rotary magnetic switch provides ease when switching between Hi-Lo power output and eliminates possibility of flooding through switch compartment. Safety Lock on the switch prevents light from being accidentally turned on during transportation.
- Lights utilize 8 AA Alkaline 1.5V batteries and are compliant with 1.2V AA Ni-Mh rechargeable batteries as well. Burn time is 12 hours first hour at 100%, second hour at 50% -60% (depending on Hi or Lo output) 5th hour at 25-40%
- Built in thermal protection system turns light off when light has been exposed to temperatures over 70ยบ C (this can occur, for instance, when light is used for prolonged periods on land). Power comes back on when light cools off.

The light has an incredible beam. I used it for the first time during a night dive....wow!! My buddies did not need their "yellowisch " lights anymore. Some of us were taking pics and asked me to light the targets...
One negative point was that at 80-90 feet, I could not turn the light off, but when back at 40-50, no problem.
