I thought this would be a good "starter" camera for me since I couldn't beat the price. I was wrong! It doesn't work below 15 feet and the switch that was supposed to turn it on and off broke while I as underwater! I guess I got what I paid for- next time I'll know.

It took a couple of pictures the first dive, which once developed were terrible, after that nothing. I know it wasn't operator error, a couple of other divers also tried it.

I thought I would try this because it was reasonably priced. I guess you really do get what you pay for. It locked up on me, had too little flash strength and thus poor color--all blue. I might as well have taken a $9.95 disposable camera.

I have had some issues below 35 feet where the pressure alone pushes on the back of the camera so it can't advance the film. I haven't tried placing a bracein the camera yet, but i most likely will.. IT DOES TAKE GREAT PHOTOS when you are at a good depth. I would definately say if you want to buy a good cheap camera to buy this to start

I got this for my wife to play with while I was taking the real vacation photos. The best part of the system is the housing. Just big enough for a wallet and keys. It will keep them dry while you are shore diving. At the [...] price, the housing is almost worth the money. As for the camera, it is pretty much a waste of film and processing costs

Switch that opens shutter and turns on camera will not work properly at depth. The camera will work above 35 feet or so.

I bought one of these recently and have tried it in a variety of situations. Despite claims that it is water proof to great depths, the pressure stops it from functioning past 15 feet or so. I was already embarrassed enough to drag it out on a dive boat around expensive dive cameras, but when I spotted some moray eels, lion fish, and a huge Hognose Snapper, I REALLY wanted a photo. No dice. If you want a dive camera, wait and caugh up the money for a REAL dive camera. Dont settle for this hunk of plastic. Its heavy and it stinks.

We bought this camera just before a big trip which included some great dives in Florida. We saw some beautiful things, but can't share it with anyone because after about 30', the camera would stop working. Pictures were poor quality. After this trip, we invested in a case for our digital camera and will never go back to a standard 35mm.
the best picture we got with this camera - at 20'

camera works great for novice use and is easy to operate. However constructed a little cheaply, make sure rewind feature works. Or you will be rewinding film by hand in the dark hoping not to ruin your dive photos. Spend a litte move and get better results if you dive frequently.

Vey hopeful expetations as many hours were spent deciding between film and digital. Camera looks impressive upon arrival. Seal worked to perfection but that was about it. First two dives at 45 ft. Camera struggled to function as film advance would not work. Lost shots of large stingray, Moray eels, Female trigger Fish, Scorpian fish, etc., etc., etc. Pictures taken without flash at this depth lose all color. Time to reload. Rewind function very touchy. Have to squeeze camera just right to make it rewind. Next day take pictures out of underwater housing on trip into town. Camera functions OK. Next day reload and hopeful to use at shallower depth of 30 FT. Flash works perfectly and pictues advance OK. Get back from vacation and have film developed. Just about every picture turns out lousy. Almost all underwater shots from close range so no excuse for lousy quality. No good quality shots out of three dives and one above water excursion.

I've had this model for several years. I've gotten decent photos from it, though nothing that would come anywhere near a "professional" photo. This is a good camera for snapshots. The most recent trip I took, last week to Puerto Rico, I had a lot of trouble with it past about 20 feet. It didn't leak, it just quit working, as if the batteries were dead. It was fine on land, though, and the pics were okay.

Love the ease of use just point and shoot. I took it to 100ft and it worked well. Great for snorkeling and scuba diving. The best part is it's co$t. Great Price!

It is a good starter camera, does well within 40 foot of water any deeper pictures wont turn out and you will have problems getting camera to work.
Have used the camera in lake and in sea.

I purchase this camera last summer and had much trouble with the camera inside the case, i.e., it didn't fit the case very well (flash was partially blocked and some of the controls on the case didn't operate the camera functions), wouldn't feed film properly, wouldn't rewind film properly.... Don't bother with this one. You get what you pay for...
