Comments about Technisub Lumen X6 Dive Light:
I got this lamp on spot in Hurghada, Egypt, for mere 30 EUR + 6 EUR for 6 pcs. of alcaline bateries. Actually I got 2 sets of batteries afraid of high drain possible - no way, first set of quality Varta alcalines was more than enough for the whole week of night safari diving !The light was OK under the water, with concentrated beam and very ligh halo to be aware around you. Attached cord was too short for casual fixing to BC D-ring, so I recommend kind of longer strap. Although my BC sidepockets are of big size, I had to play a little to fit the light in when the sideweights were already in(just under the pockets) - check first with your jacket/wing pockets when Lumen X6 is to be your backup! As we had 5-6 of these lights on a board, and one get flooded and second refused to work without being flooded, I doubt a little as it comes to the quality of sealing with o-ring and the switch.Recommend frequent greasing of o-ring with every battery change. Regret there are not 2 o-rings for extra security.Next point was difficult when trying to put some of the battery makes in place - looks like some batteries go in easier (like Philips), other go with you saying bad words (like Varta), other do not go in at all (my friend's brand name recheargables seemed to be tens of milimeters too long).Overall comment: purchase on-spot for [$]...

Comments about Technisub Lumen X6 Dive Light:
The Lumen X6 is a great compact dive light. Being that I dive up in the northeast I needed a light that I could use during the day to poke around and something that would work as a great backup light on my night dives. The Lumen X6 has proven itself to me to be just that. Easy to use with gloves and compact enough to fit in my BC pocket this dive light packs a big punch with 130 lumens and a focused beam. The grip on the light is very ergonomically designed and wont slip even when my gloves were half frozen.
