Comments about Underwater Kinetics Underwater Kinetics Vizion 3AAA eLED Headlamp:
This product is really not for use under water. It's good for rainy weather and that's about it. To top it off, mine stopped working after about a week.

Comments about Underwater Kinetics Underwater Kinetics Vizion 3AAA eLED Headlamp:
I'm a commercial scuba diver that needed something to use so that I could clean gear at night (usually in the middle of a fuel spill on a rocking boat), or perform other tasks that require both hands.Yeah, head-mounted lights are geeky (that's why I call them "geek lights") but incredibly useful when you need to work with both hands in the dark. Just don't let your friends see you wearing one - and don't look anyone in the face (which is only natural to do) or you'll blind them and destroy their night vision for the next ten minutes.- LED lighting gives clean, white light.- LED lamps run cooler than incandescents, halogen or HID lights, making them safer - especially in hazardous conditions.-LED lamps almost never burn out, and are much more durable than any other lighting source.- 120 hour burntime - 5x longer than incandescent lighting - so they're more likely to work when you really need them to work.- Buttons that make sense by feel so you're not groping around in the dark trying to understand "how this f-n thing works."- Rugged enough to throw in the glove box or dive bag and still know it'll work every time. It's even submersible, so it can be used for surface support or in all weather conditions without worry.- Lighting is directed properly, with enough shielding from the eyes that you're not blinded when wearing it (many cheaper models have this problem - they destroy your night vision, making you blind both with and without the light).- On/off button SEPARATE from the flood/spot/red dial, so on/off means on/off, not flood/spot/red/off like so many others that require you to tab through a switch three or four times to get the "stupid thing off."- Works on 4 regular batteries, so no searching for some oddball thing that nobody's ever heard of- Wide, comfortable, sensical headband - check out how many cheap imitations have terrible headbands!- Small and light enough to wear with or without a hat or mask - will not interfere.- Rated to 33 feet (sure that's wimpy, but compare that to other head-mounted lights that stop working the first time they get rained on).- An excellent value - twice the price as the junk in [...], but ten times the quality.- Excellent light quality, temperature, and brightness.- Single high-quality LED instead of competition's multi-LED technology means better beam pattern with less dark spots.I can't wait until they come out with the diver's version - UK rep says that they expect to have an identical unit rated to 140+ feet soon.
