To keep your light safe from losing it the 36" locking retractor will allow you to keep it handy and allow you to let it go without fear of it heading to the bottom. Retractor once reeled in will keep it close, yet out of the way ready again whe n you need your light.

I usually do not write reviews... but this time I have to, this light is amazing.
1. It's really tiny. I clip it on my dive watch on my wrist - my hands are finally free. I don't even notice it.
2. it's super strong light, I mean really strong. All my friends are amazed how strong this is. And yes they are all jealous.
3. I use it every single time even if I do shallow dive with good viz simply because I can. It's tiny, rechargeable and really improves "to be seen" factor.
4. I used it even as a primary light for night dive in 5FT visibility water (yeah monterey CA can sometimes suck), worked great.
5. I do usually +/- 45 minutes dives, this light lasts for 5 dives. Once I forgot to charge it and thanks to standard USB charger, I charged it in my car during surface interval.
My only complain is that I did not discover this light 2 years ago.

I have a main canister lantern, and this little one was bought to be a backup. Of course, became the first one, because its light is very clear and constant. The battery lasts a long time and recharges quickly.

Very compact (the littlest I had) and very powerfull. Better than lots of primary lights I knew. Very good for UW photo and video.

Simply a great light. Incredible amount of light from such a small light. Something no diver should be without. Power options were very important to me. Being able to charge lithium (110v-240v) or use 123's as backups is great. The ability to charge battery with USB cable is great while on travel. No depth rating on website, took it to 148FSW today with no issues. Everyone had light envy today and was blown away by this things performance. Only thing brighter were the big dollar HID and LED cannon lights.

I bought two of these lights. One for my wife and one for me. Mine worked very well and really liked it however my wifes leaked right out of the box and I am not sure why...I really do like the one that did work....
