I have used these lights on 13 night dives to date and have only had the change the batteries once in the C8.
The C8 is not as bright as an Led but works well if the water is fairly clear, when the vis is low I use the SL4 as its bean is brighter and not as wide.
Overall a very useful light set for the money and all you will need for the average Rec diver.

Good set of entry level lights. I found myself using the Q40 more than anything else. I also bought one of the LED versions of this set and really like it too!

This is a great light set with tank light, C8 for night and either of two smaller lights for back up or day deeper diving. 3 night dives at over an hour each and the C8 is still burning bright.

The C8 and the SL4 are both good lights I use frequently. I almost never use the Q40 and the dive beacon leaks water everytime I use it. The best light is the SL4 I carry at all times, it's a goood back up and nice piece of safety gear easily carried at all times.

If you need a light or two or three. This pack has it all. I use the Dive Beacon on my Tank/BCD for my buddy/others to see me. I already had an SL6, so I don't use the C8 as often, however if you need a big light the C8 is great, and SL4 works great as a powerful back up. The Mini Q40 is great for clipping on your BCD or in a Pocket if you don't want a larger light as a back up. It's compact and easy to operate with one hand. I use it as a 3rd light if my buddy or I have one light fail.
