The Expedition 300 was originally designed as an EOD flashlight for the U.S. Navy. Double O-ring seals give this waterproof light an underwater depth rating of 500 feet. Uses 3 C-cell batteries that last 40+ hours at full power with an additional 60 hours of usable light. Pros:
Good battery life, Very bright
Cons:
Poor housing integrity, Switch action vague
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments about Tektite Tektite Expedition 300, 7 LED:
This would be a killer light if three out of three had not flooded. One for a housing flaw, one for a switch/o-ring failure and the last just because it did (never could see why).
