This light is a great all around performer. It's got to be the brightest light for it's size on the market today. Very well built.

I used this light on a recent night dive in Cozumel. It worked very well and provided as much light as most larger, heavier lights. I read that some people had trouble with the on/off switch but at 60 feet, mine worked very well.

I have used this light on two night dives so far (as well as on land) and was very impressed with the light it projects given its relatively small size. This light was brighter than most others being used by divers on my boat, but it was small enough to stash in a BC side pocket when not in use.

My first use was on Lake Travis during the day and it worked extremely well. It helped in seeing details in the wrecked boat.

Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec NEW 95 Lumens Torrent LED:

I really liked the size and feel of this light. Fits easily in my pocket or hanging on a d-ring. It turns off and on easily. I didn't wear gloves, but it seems that it would be fine with gloves on too. The lock isn't hard to flip on and off, either. It isn't perfect at locking however, as I had it come on once when I was sure I locked it. The light beam is cooler and more focused than my previous, non LED. Really don't need another big light for a night dive unless you want a wide beam.

Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec NEW 95 Lumens Torrent LED:

This powerful yet compact LED light uses 8-AA's and is sealed with not one, but two o-rings for superb protection which will help to keep your light from becoming flooded during a dive. I like mine so much, that I'll be ordering another one soon enough.

An additional use that I have for mine is for macro photography of my reef aquarium. Since most of the creepy crawlies come out at night, and since night is also when the corals feed, that's when I prefer taking all of my photos for best possible effect. Unfortunately however, that's also when all of the tank lights are off, which means that a camera flash has to be used... Since a strobe creates glare from the glass, you can't use them very well without a lot of retouching, but you CAN use a waterproof LED light to illuminate the subject from the wet side of the glass, providing the best in lighting capability.
