Cons:
Drains Batteries

Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec, Tec-40:

Used as a back-up light. Fits good in my b/c pocket. Decent light output. Con: Twist-on bezel has to be loose to keep light off and may let water enter the light. With that type of light actuation the light can turn itself on easily draining the batteries.

Just got back from Roatan and used this light all the time; diving on the reef to look in the occasional nook, and at night, walking back to the beach house. So far, it's been completely waterproof and has a nice bright beam. I love this light.

Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec, Tec-40:

Used this light for the first time last week. Fresh out of the packaging. Worked fine until flooding @ 65'. Once dive completed, fresh water rinse and moisture guard spray did not halt the corrosion. Although lights of this size are great backups, reliability should be a key criteria in selecting which type to get.

Great price. Lightweight and has a nice, solid feel, too. This light has a soft, intense light dispersion. Surprisingly bright for it's size and price. I find it to be a great backup light for my BC pocket. The only minor drawback for such a light is having to use two hands to twist on and off the light. Despite that, I am very pleased with it.
