Light switch is a bit fragile. Be careful when switching it on and off.

Great product. The 3 LED lights make you stand out among other single beam lights. This light made it easy for me to identify my buddy (who had one) at night... I just looked for the 3 LED pattern as opposed to a single beam. The light was bright and reliable.

A week in bonaire and I love it.

This is an excellent light, and it gets even better with a free gift of backup light from Leisurepro. It could possibly the best light regardless the price, and the price is great. Very white, strong light and good battery life.

The only complain is the switch is not very well designed and hard to operate, if this light could ever break, the switch might be the weakest point as well. All in all, I will strongly recommend this light.

First off, i have only owned a small ikelite pcm before this so I don't have much experience with larger dive lights but when i first got it, it was smaller than i imagined and the beam was very impressive. Seems pretty rugged although i have not used it much. Only complaint is the switch.. its hard to tell from low and high. otherwise I'm very happy.

I was very ipmressed by the cutting action of the white LED beam on the canon. Just a bit bulky if you are doing multiple things under the water (I.E. photography), but I let my dive buddy have the canon and I used the TEC 40 LED (FREE!!!!) and it was just as amazing. He would zoom in on long distance items and I still had the smaller one for myself. Good in or out of the water.

I'm very happy with this light! I've dived with buddys using canister HID's and other LED lights, this one provides nearly the same level of performance as lights that cost 2-3 times as much. It's a great primary light for night and deep/cold water. The on/off switch and lock are easy to operate with thick gloves.

I compared every dive light and found in the end this one to be the best. Battery life, Price, and brightness is what makes this light the winner. LED has come a looong way. HID lights are too sensitive to breaking, and replacement bulbs too high, Halogen/Xenon bulbs drain batteries way to fast. This LED light features 9 Watts of power, or 3 watts on low, I almost always use it on 3 watts and it's still really powerful. The light is not too heavy, it is durable, feels good in the hand, and will light up things in front of you, but also 30' away.
Compare the brightness, and battery life of any dive light, and you will surely pick this light as your winner! The switch will not break, like happens on many of another brands lights (starts with a "U")
I do drift dives at night very often, this light is viewable from the boat from over a mile away. It has most likely saved a call to the coast guard.
PS, the light is not see though like in the displayed photo.

It is a nice light. I had done a few cave dives up 120 feet. The light worked there. I mostly dive in OC Maryland, where visibility is not great. I find this light good and reliable as my primary light. I know that this unit is not your typical top of the line model, but it is a good bargain for the money you pay for it.

Great light for any price. The LED bulbs really put out great light intensity, lighting up any area more than any light I've used in the past. The multiple intensity settings also allow it to be used in a variety of situations, making it a great buy for everyone. It was a little heavy with all the batteries on land, but doesn't hinder the user once in the water. Overall a great dive light.

These are the brightest lights on the reef. It will really make night diving more fun becasue you will see more fish and things using it. They also make a smaller LED light with same bulbs etc that we recently bought and anxious to try. I wish they would make a LED "beacon" light to hang under the boat.

I bought this light and it was very quickly sent. I am exceptionally pleased with the lights performance. BUT! After one Night Dive, something happened and the switch broke so be careful with the mechanism. I suspect it was just the one I purchased, as in general, the mechanism and components used appear to be quite solid. Among 16 people on an advanced night dive class this was by far the brightest light there. One person even had a 6 D cell light and this one still outshined. I was very pleased. The only concern was with cloudy water, it was TO bright. But I noticed this was the same with the other lights as well.

This is an awesome light! Super reliable - I've used a number of other dive lights that would break or leak after a single dive, would corrode and refuse to turn on, etc. I never have to worry about this light! The illumination I get from this light is AMAZING. The width and intensity of this light really opened up my field of view on night dives. Also, the light is very light (but not bouyant) compared to another light I had of similar intensity. The other light used 8 D cells and was far less reliable. Highly recommended!

I was really surprised by the intensity of the Shockwave LED. It is very bright, with almost a blue-like hue, and well-focused. I routinely dive in limited vis, the light really shines through the muck. It is compact and reliable. I don't think there is a better light on the market for the money.
