Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec, Blast:

Unfortunately, this small brite light can not be depended upon due to the very unpredictable bulb life. I've purchased more that a dozen bulbs for my lights. I've had bulbs fail as quickly as just seconds from installing, and [$] it get's costly. I've contacted and talked with the manf., Princeton Tech and they are aware of the problem, but state that this light should not be used as a serious light for serious conditions. Good key chain ligh - that's it.

Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec, Blast:

I have taken this light about 5 times it does not seal very good. I would turn light on before getting it wet and still would have moisture inside. If you forgot to remove the batteries after every dive to dry it would never work again. I bought 4 of these and I have gone through 3. The light last for about 2 hours. When the battery gets weak it will die right away almost no dimming to this light. From full to none.It is not very safe if you are in a bad spot and this is your backup.

It's a great size to fit in my BC pocket. It's also bright enough for those can't quite see places on the reef and in wrecks. It's also pretty bright considering the size.

I use this product when diving in the Pacific North West, Hawaii and fresh water lakes around the world. This light is super bright, compact and durable. I own three of these little guys and let me tell you, they fit well in my Zeagle BC and I take them everywhere. I haven't had any problems yet -- knock on wood! Thanks for a great product.

Comments about Princeton Tec Princeton Tec, Blast:

When I first received my little Blast, I was impressed. It is bright and very small. I carried it on a D-ring on every dive. It was great for when I just needed a little light to look in a hole or something. I found that I would go to use it once in a while and it would be dead. Didn't know it, but it was accidentally turning on when I shifted my gear in my bag. Also, because it's a twist-on-type of light, the o-ring develops a leak after a period of time. If they redesign it, I'll buy another. But it lasted about 6 months for me.
