I bought two of these to use as a focus light on my underwater camera. It was perfect for the camera, just enough light to allow focusing at depth but not too much to interfere with the image.
Unfortunately after the third dive the first light flooded. The second light lasted five dives. None of the dives were below 50 feet.

Bright, small, compact, cheap, but flooded on my first 100 foot dive with it (3rd dive of the trip, disappointing). Going to try something different next time.

I bought 4 of these, as back ups for my kids and myself on our night dives. Very powerful for such a small light. I always have at least one on me on any dive. Great for poking around those in nooks and crannies, when I'm taking photos, and I carried 2 when I was doing my wreck cert last year.

I always carry one of these while diving. It's super compact. The beam is bright enough to see for five to fifteen feet, depending on water conditions. Unfortunately, they seem to leak. I had one to 140' on a dive, and it leaked two dives later at less than 70'.
Since it is so small, I carry one on every dive... even on dives when I'm sure I won't need it. I've found it very handy on 4 of the 100+ dives I've had one. 3 times when my dive buddy's light failed, and my primary light had failed (so I was using my normal backup, and wanted something for my dive buddy who didn't have a spare).
As a surface light it works great. It is supposed to run for over 100 hours on a set of batteries. It's not so bright that people on the boat fuss about their night vision.
