This is one serious dive light. The 4100 is submersible to 500 feet with an ABS body, polycarbonate lens, and thermoplastic shroud. Light is corrosion proof and chemical resistant. Two reflectors are included: a modified spot (stippled for a wide beam) and a laserspot (smooth for a tight collimated beam). Also, a back-up lamp is stored behind the reflector for emergencies. The dual direction switches easy to operate, even with thick gloves. And there's a locking slide feature to prevent accidental activation. The pistol grip/lantern handle quickly converts to multiple positions for flexibility. The Nemo 4100 also comes with a shock absorbing internalbattery module that protects both the cells and the lamp from hard knocks. Light is powered by 8 D alkaline cells.

I LIKE THE FACT THAT ITS A BIG LIGHT, ALTHOUGH WHEN BATTERIES ARE IN THE LIGHT IS VERY HEAVY.THE FIRST TIME WE USED LIGHT THE LIGHT FILLED WITH WATER AND THE BULB BLEW...HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER BULB WHICH COST AS MUCH AS LIGHT WITH THE SHIPPING.ON THE OTHER HAND ONCE WE WERE ABLE TO USE THE LIGHT IT IS EXCELLENT AND BRIGHT AND WE LIKE THE FACT WE CAN CHANGE THE ANGLE OF THE HANDLE..
