Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

I bought this light for my husband for Christmas and he turned around and bought it for me for my B-Day. It is great for travel. It is small and easy to pack and has enough light to use as a main light on a night dive. It is a little heavy but very durable. Our divemaster loved it! I would recommend this product!

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

I loved this light, until I started diving as a tech diver. The switch gets turned on automatically by my harness strap (a major problem), and my battery drained before the dives even started.

Now, the whole switch assembly CAME OFF and I couldn't use the light at all! I loved the light, but the switch assembly was a piece of garbage. I will only use twist-on lights from now on. (even my $4.95 cheapo yellow light that I bought at leisure pro is much more reliable)

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

I bought it as a backup torch when my UK one died before the first set of batteries ran out. Immediately I was impressed with the design and build quality. It is pro quality and easily competes with $200+ torches. It just feels right. Never had it turned on by accident. At the same time the magnetic switch is easy to operate even when I'm wearing thick glove (90% of my diving is in cold water). A friend just boght one based on my recommendation - he is heppy as well.

This light is great as backup or as a primary. It is well constructed and fits well in my hand. I really like the magnetic switch which helps keep the inside dry. It would also work well in a taticle situation at home.

Lovely white light, great focus and intensity, compact, lightweight and easy to attach. However, switch does not have a lock and it is easy to accidentally turn on the light. All the same, I have two others and use them all the time.

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

When using this light on the surface it works great but at 60 feet or deeper I have to hit the side of the light to get it to come on. I believe the magnet switch is the cause. After I do this it works from then on till I surface and re-dive then do it all over again.

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

This is a great light, even for shallow reef dives during the day. the biggest drawback is that everyone oogles over the performance, so you have to make sure you keep an eye on it. I suggest [...] purchasing an in-graving tool ($12) and put your name and phone number on it, way cheaper than buying a new one. I purchased an Intova compact to replace it, and although it has the same specs, it does not seem to perform nearly as well, also the back switch (compact) gets turned on accidentally and burns through the 3 AAA batteries.

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

This is a very bright light. I wanted something that I could use for daytime use for illuminating cracks and crevices in the reef and on wrecks and signal other divers as to what I'm looking at, and this works perfectly for that. It is also very bright at night and could easily be used as a primary light.

I'm split on the magnetic switch though. I found it beneficial to have the magnetic slide switch when operating the light in one hand and a camera in the other during the day. I would switch the light on and off as needed to peer into dark places and use the light to allow the camera to focuse. The swich proved useful in these situations.

When not actively using the light, it stays clipped to a D-ring and secured to my shoulder strap with a piece of bike inner tube. I found the light would sometimes switch on by itself upon entry into the water due to the ease of movement of the magnetic switch. I had to reach down and physically feel the position of the switch after entry to make sure it hadn't accidentally switched on.

The light is very sturdy and feels well built.

This light is awesome compared to the average ones sold at sporting good stores (which I purchased a couple just to test the difference. The light is extremely bright for the size. It does have a heavy solid feel which I personally like. I've only used it on day dives (worked really well). Will be testing on a night in a couple weeks. I have no idea how long the bulb or batteries last as I have not had it long enough, but the extra $15-$20 are well worth it thus far.

This light is compact and well made. It has a bright beam and is good for looking into caves and wrecks for fish. The lanyard is well made and keeps the light from getting lost. I have only used it during the daytime so far, not on a night dive.

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

I bought this mainly because I am way to into flashlights, and I had some gift money to burn. This has now become my primary light while in the water and while camping. It is extremely lightweight, very durable, with a sharp and focused beam. This is one of those items I bought on a lark, but would now not want to be without.

Comments about Intova Intova Torch 4.7 Watt LED #IFL660:

This light is not heavey! If you you night dive often you know that most primary lights are weighing at least as much as 4C batteries and some up to 8 D batteries.. That's heavey.. This light is great as both a primary and secondary light.. This light is great for night free diving as well. This light is also great for camping. This light is as bright as other led lights that use three LEDs. It just does not have the beam width. It looks like a normal flashlight and fits in the hand. Your wirst does not get tired after diving or free diving for long periods of time.
I highly recomed it.

This is the heaviest solid metal flashlight ever made! You could use it as a weapon! You won't ever damage this puppy unless you drop it from an airplane onto concrete! Leave one lb. off your BC!
