The high intensity LED lighting of the PC Lite is equally suited for day exploring or night dives. Brightness and duration (at least 7 hours) make it perfect for a primary dive light, in a size that's still comfortable to stow in your BCD pocket. The PC Lite runs on 4 "C" Cells and has a convenient rotating on/off switch with lock to prevent accidentally turning on when stored.
Ikelite selected the highest quality white LED's for maximum brightness and durability. The PCa LED has a 5 watt high intensity 205 lumens (at Peak) brightness LED. A specially designed lens disperses the cool, bright light for an exceptionally even spot beam pattern completely free of hot spots. Many divers prefer the more natural looking light of white LED's over the yellowish cast of standard incandescent bulbs.
Highly efficient drivers yield an LED lifespan of 50 - 100 times the life of standard incandescent lamps, making replacement bulbs virtually obsolete. These LED's maintain their maximum brightness level much longer and without the low-battery "dimming" affects of traditional lights.
When the batteries are nearly drained, the LED lights continue to emit a lower intensity output for hours or even days--long after incandescent lights have quit. This extended illumination period can make all the difference in an emergency situation.
The LED PC-series feature the unique snap-ring design for quick battery replacement and fool-proof seal. PC, PCa, and PCm LED's run cool and can be usedfor extended periods of time above water--making them the perfect choice for anyadventure. All are made from durable plastic and are depth rated to 300' (90 meters).

Used this as my primary light on all night dive on the St. Vincent and Grandines live aboard trip I took two weeks ago. All I can say is WOW it was so bright I had to shield it so I didn't blind my dive partners. If you like a lot of light when night diving this is a great light and since it is not that big it makes a good travel light.

This light is very bright, and well suited to be primary, or back-up light. Small,with abright beam, and good coverage. I use it on a retractor and it performs really well on night dives.
