Great light.
Very compact and very bright.
Took this as a backup on a night dive, only to find it was twice as bright as my primary!
Focusable beam is a great feature - It's versatile for wide beam or pinpointing.
As with most non-professional units, this does not provide significant illumination for peering under little ledges during the daytime, but it's great when it is dark.
I like the hand holster idea as well, but this needs improvement. It's great to have your hand free, but the light is not secured well enough in the holster to be able to adjust the beam focus with the other hand alone (the light rotates in the holster).

I love this light! I have used it many times and the focus works perfectly both above and below water. I believe there was an earlier version that my buddy had that did not focus well underwater. But this is a GREAT light! I particularly love the neoprene pouch that has a retractor cord that attached to the light, that way i know i won't drop it. And it can stay inside the pouch when I don't use it!

This is a very bright light and really gives light where needed. Love the adjustable area of the beam! Works really well in dark water where I dive. Cooper river is dark water. Only con is the 2 1/2 hour battery life.

Comments about Big Blue Big Blue CF 250 Lumens Aluminum LED Light With Soft Hand Mount:
I submitted a review of this before I used it and can't figure out how to delete/edit it. I have changed my opinion on this big time.
Pros: the housing is well built, the light is very white and decently bright. I'm not sure if it is 250 lumens, but much brighter than 70-80 lumen lights that some divers had.
Cons: Focus is USELESS. It works great in air, but drop it in water and the angle that is a pencil beam in air is a wide flood underwater. The wide flood in air is a wide flood underwater. Focusing doesn't work underwater at all. Also, the switch is a cool idea (uses a magnet to turn an internal switch) but it is super flimsy plastic and broke on my first dive.
If BigBlue fixed focusing and the switch it would probably be the best light out there. As it is now, the flood is great within about 10-15 feet, but you need the ability to focus and don't have it underwater.
