The Aquatec Mini LED Light Stick will replace the standard chemical light stick. The LED Light Stick uses a high intensity LED along with a patented light diffusing acrylic material to give you an incredible glow that is very visible. These light sticks allow you to not only use on your person during a night dive, you can also use them to mark the anchor, entry points, etc. The two different models (constant and flash) and four different colors allow you to be unique and stand out from other divers. Some groups have used these light sticks to color code their members. You can assign each member of your dive group with a different combination of models and colors. See SKU: AQTLMLF for flashing light stick.

Comments about Aquatec Aquatec LED Mini Light, Constant On:

This device seems to have a flaw in its design. I put the batteries to test it but didn't used it, didn't even put water over it, a week later, I found that the base had corrosion all over it. The batteries had explode and a fluid was all over the internal housing of the batteries. I change the batteries and it "worked". It lasted one dive. From time to time it went off. So, I found it very unreliable.

Comments about Aquatec Aquatec LED Mini Light, Constant On:

I purchased two Aquatec lights with the "constant light on" option. Both had the same problem. If they slightly "tap" against the tank both lights loose battery connection and both go out. You then have to tap it again to turn it back on. I definetely don't recommend the "Constant On" option. The Blinking doesn't seem to have the same problem.

No light...
By Heather the Fish LoverVerified Purchaser from San Francisco, CA on 9/5/2007
Pros:
Compact
Cons:
No power, Weak Beam
Best Uses:
None of these
Describe Yourself:
Snorkler only
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Aquatec Aquatec LED Mini Light, Constant On:

The beam was so dim on these lights that we couldn't even see two or three inches under water. We were never able to night snorkel with these lights. I was hoping that if I replaced the batteries that were included, I would have better results. Didn't happen. This was really a disappointment as we had perfectly clear water and had so hoped to go out at night in Kona.
