I dive under harsh conditions and constantly become entangled in debris in zero visibility water. I dive with a Wenoka big squeeze on each leg, wenoka little squeeze on my bcd, EMT shears, zeagle line cutter, carbide saw, wire cutters, and NASA escape shears. Having a knife within reach no matter how I am entangled is critical.
The Wenoka squeeze knifes are one of the best for locking in inverted positions and very difficult to lose.
I have heard of weak locking devices on some wenoka knifes. And as always be sure to check all dive equipment prior to dive and replace defective items before the dive.

Nice construction, lots of ways to configure on your BCD. May not work with real thick gloves due to compact size, but just get the 'regular' size with gloves for colder diving.

This knife comes with a mounting kit that allows it to be mounted on a BCD, hose, and elsewhere.

It was very easy to mount onto my Seaquest BCD grommets.

It locks into it's case and won't fall out even if bumped - I tried.

The only downside is that it is WICKED sharp on BOTH sides of the blade. You can't tell from the photo. I don't like having two RAZOR sharp edges to watch - especially when cutting lines or rope (looped around the blade).

Very nice little BC knife, and mounts neatly on your inflator hose. I really liked it, but was always bothered by the rather weak springs on the locking mechanism. It came out entirely too easily, I thought. Then, last week, it finally happened. It popped out of its sheath, probably on the giant stride entry, and is now residing somewhere on the bottom of the Cay Sal Banks. Now I am shopping for a new knife, and am looking for a really positive locking system. But that's what everyone has been saying this knife has. (?) Maybe my springs were defective? Too bad, the knife was darn near perfect otherwise.

This knife was designed for Seaquest BC's with the gromet holes on the pocket. The barnacle nuts do a great job of holding it to the BC. Easy in and out of the sheath.

Overall a good knife, seems to be durable, locks into it's sheath well, and the serrated edge was very sharp. However it did arrive with the plain edge rather dull, and the plain edge wasn't ground evenly, more ground off to one side. Nothing that a proper sharpening couldn't take care of.

Everything about this knife is great except the barnicle bolts. Maybe its just on my BC, but the bolts are too short to attach the knife to the mares icon via the knife grommets (couldnt even get the first thread to grab). I ended up ordering metric stainless steel hex bolts and fender washers and now it fits and functions great, however it would have been nice if I didnt have to spend $20 in hardware to attach a [$] knife.

I purchased this knife on vacation because my larger knife wasn't as easily accesible as it gets strapped to my thigh. This knife came with a kit which mounts it to a hose. The release system feels very natural; making it second nature to extract the knife from the case. Great primary knife, mutliple mounting options.

4 stars only because you can't disassemble it for cleaning and it's not easy to get rid of sand stuck in the locking mechanism. Otherwise - it's perfect.

This is a must have! I have this knife mounted to my inflator hose as a safety/backup and I don't even realize it is there! I feel that every diver should have this knife or similar mounted to their BC for emergency use! I bought this knife along with the Wenoka Big Squeeze and have logged approx. 50 dives, once again not a spec of rust. Just rinse with water and let dry. The locking mechanism allows for easy use and security. I bought 3 more of these knives as gifts for other divers and they loved them! I wish they made the blade in titanium so that it would match the Big Squeeze Titanium knife that I have. Once again, I feel that this is a must have for divers of all experience levels.

I attached this knife to a Seaquest Pro QD which already has the holes to accomodate it. It does not get in my way and the squeeze lock works great. I have another knife which I strap to my leg but I don't always take it when I travel. I don't like diving without a knife so this one is perfect for me b/c it stays attached to my bc.

This is a nice small BCD knife. It has an easy lock system that works well with gloves. The mounting hardware needs some work though. During the second day of diving with this knife, the mounting screw plastic head broke off and the screw pulled thru the BC strap!

This is a compact blunt-tip knife with attachment hardware. I attached mine upside down on the BC inflator hose. It's a nice size with a durable handle and very good locking mechanism securing the knife in the sheath.
