Could use a lanyard loop hole otherwise is a very excellent blade to have. Disassembles easy for easy care and cleanup. I have a similar
Blue Reef Deluxe 5" Titanium Knife (with a lanyard hole) that is a slightly thicker/heavier blade which is double edge sharp at the tip of the blade with full tang construction to a threaded metal end for the pommel (that is also titanium BUT GLUED ON - not so easy to remove the first time when cleaning). If some genius company could combine the best attributes of both knives I would buy a hundred of them to give away to all my friends and family.

Incredibly light and very sharp. If it had a lanyard hole, it would be perfect.

Comments about Underwater Kinetics Underwater Kinetics Blue-Tang "Titanium" Knife, Blunt Tip:
This is an outstanding knife. The titanium is very light (almost as if the knife was made out of plastic) - everything about this knife is very durable and corrosion resistant.
My friend has the stainless steel version of my titanium knife, which he forgot to clean on a dive trip - leaving significant rust within days. But not this titanium blade - it's 100% corrosion resistant.
The one and only downside is the lack of an effective way to leash the blade. Other than that I could not ask for a better knife for it's specific purpose.

I love this knife. It's extremely light, and will never tarnish. The holster is incredibly well made and very easy to draw from. A+

Comments about Underwater Kinetics Underwater Kinetics Blue-Tang "Titanium" Knife, Blunt Tip:
This really is a good knife but you don't need it. You think you do but you really don't. Buy a small line cutter instead. If you are looking for a scary knife that won't corrode in salt water then you can't go wrong for this price. The big disadvantage however is the handle. The handle is plastic and really should be solid rubber. I wouldn't try prying anything with this handle. The blade won't break but the handle certainly will. Because the handle is plastic it isn't sealed. You can and are supposed to disassemble the knife after a dive and rise everything. That's just more stuff to go wrong. The handle should be solid rubber and completely sealed.
Buy this knife to scare people on the boat but don't buy it for diving.

ONE OF THE BEST SPECIALTY KNIVES I'VE EVER OWNED. ULTRA LIGHT WEIGHT, EXTREMLY DURABLE, STURDY HOUSING, EASY CLEANING, AND A REASONABLE PRICE... WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR. WELL WORTH THE MONEY, YOU WON'T GO WRONG WITH THIS ONE.
Comments about Underwater Kinetics Underwater Kinetics Blue-Tang "Titanium" Knife, Blunt Tip:
This is a very nice knife. It breaks down completely for easy cleaning. It is double sided, one serrated, for multiple uses. This version with the blunt tip is good for opening and prying when neccessary and helps prevent punctures on equipment in low visibility situations. The only down fall for the knife is the absence of a lanyard hole. Overall, I would highly recommend this knife. I would consider this knife perfect if it had the lanyard hole.
Comments about Underwater Kinetics Underwater Kinetics Blue-Tang "Titanium" Knife, Blunt Tip:
Thankfully, I've not had much demand for the knife while diving, but it is a decent size and weight and seems to be functionally sharp. It is also an OK price compared to other titanium knives.
I'm not a fan of the straps prvided for mounting though; I got my own for easy on/off.

This was my first dive purchase because I am interested in wreck diving. Considering the durable construction and cleaning features, I am sure it will hold up for many dives to come.
