Bought this bag after another bag I had gotten at the LDS ripped after a year and after reading the reviews on this site. I couldn't agree more.
First it does meet the airline size requirements so it does not count as an oversize bag incurring higher fees. I dont know if it would have fit all of my wife and my equipment (2 BC's, regs and compturs, 2 wet suits etc). It may have been tight for that, but we went over weight on this and had to pack some equipment in another bag anyway. I can easily fit all my own gear here.
There are two pockets for fins, oversize zippers, and it rolls easily. There are also two add'l front pockets which were sized perfectly for my regulator bag and 2 sets of goggles.
Bag was a little pricey, but so is diving.

Overall, it's a good, useful and reliable bag. I gave it a 4 because it's not perfect, but I am not sure how it compares with other brands. What I like: 1) Versatile: you can carry, roll, or wear as backpack according to situation (rolling across an airport terminal, carrying up stairs, wearing on back when going significant distances where bag cannot be rolled). 2) It's large: while main compartment size is large, the size is somewhat limited, so you can only fit tons of stuff it you make use of all the outer pockets. 3) Seems to be sturdy. How it could be better: 1) Main compartment does not keep shape (the sides collapse) when half empty (I wish it had a frame). 2) Need 3~4 locks to keep all compartments locked (I used 2 locks to keep 4 of the 6 compartment/pockets locked). I wish pockets were designed so that you don't need so many locks to secure the bag. Some international airports are notorious for having things stolen by baggage handlers. 3) Back pack straps feel weak. I have not used them, but they are thin and sparsely padded. 4) If you are into looks, it doesn't have a "designer" feel. Since I do care a little about "looks", after my first use of the bag, I questioned why I needed a suitcase made specifically for scuba gear. My Stahlsac is not particularly padded. If all I need is a light, water/mildew-resistant bag with many compartments that looks nice, I think that I could have just gotten a suitcase from Mandarina Duck (for example) and taken a mesh bag along to carry my gear around on location. I would not putt wet stuff in the gear bag (Stahlsac suitcase) directly anyway. Did I miss the point? Can someone enlighten me?

Bag is great. As other have said, easy to exceed airline weight limits. I use outside side pockets for fins. Easily holds two sets. Front pockets for books and batteries. I can easily pull these out if I need to meet weight limits.
No trouble holding all my gear (not including tank of course). And I'm a gear guy. Lights, compass, batteries, books, computer, etc. Bag stands easily alone and I can even throw a duffel on top and easily wheel the combination.
Just recently, one of my bag's telescopic handles developed difficulty telescoping (after 2 years). I'll send in for repair. Will post if I have difficulty with that.

Fits everything you need, with room for extra stuff that might need a bit of room now and again, like a change of clothes. Fits absolutely ALL of my dive gear. And the only thing I don't own is a tank. It's helped me organise all my gear into one place. I hang my reg bag over the telescoping handle though it could fit into the bag with proper packing.
Was definitely a good buy. It's a big, bulky piece of luggage so it takes up a lot of space in the boot/trunk of the car. It's attractive and capable, worth having.
