My wife and I both keep our snorkeling equipment in this bag, and there's plenty of room. The shoulder straps are great to keep your hands free while heading to the beach. We also use ours on the boat. With weekly usage, this bag lasts us approx 3 years here in the Virgin Islands. At this price, its a great deal.

I like this backpack and took it with me to Bonaire where it was fine. However, back home I put a little too much weight in it, and the shoulder straps are not sewed with strong enough thread and one of them pulled out in the middle, rendering that strap useless. I sewed it back myself with stronger thread and, hopefully, the backpack is back in business. Sure, put your regular gear in it...but don't include your weights. 20 lbs total is okay, but if you put in 40 lbs of stuff, you might be asking for trouble.

Great bag that holds fins, mask, wetsuit, BC, regulator bag. Separate dry pack within the bag for clothes, towel, etc. Back pack feature is perfect. Durable and well made.

I pack it in my dive bag and use it to take my gear to the beach or boat great dunk and rince. my last day bag had a zipper down the length of the bag it broke in two days ,sometimes less is better

I purchased the Stahlsac Panama Mesh Backpack after looking over many reviews for similar products. I've only used it once, but it fits my BC, weights, regulator/octopus/pressure gage, fins, booties, mask, snorkel, extra mask, 2 bottles of Gatorade .... and I still had room. The straps are comfortable. There is a small bag in the front held closed with velcro that I used for my sandwich and a snack. There is a zippered pouch on the inside of the back running the full height of the bag that I used to keep my dive log. You could put your clothes in this pouch and it will add padding to the bag as you're carrying it. There is a duffle bag type strap too that will allow you to carry the bag with one hand. There is an extra 12"x12" mesh bag in the front pouch that you can clip to your BC and collect shells and other items while you dive. I like the 2 holes in the bottom to allow for drainage.

This is very light weight which makes it easy to pack for a flight to the Caribbean. On dive days it holds all of my gear. On family snorkel days; we use one for gear and another for towels and misc. beach gear. The quality seems very good and it is easy to carry as a backpack.

Used the same bag since 2001. Destroyed 3 non-Stahlsac bags before it. Dunk the bag in rinse tanks, pull out and lay aside to dry. Open air design helps kill smells. Carry gear in it for miles, often 30-50# worth. Other bags would not take such action over time, but 8 years later my Stahlsac does. I fix rips with zip ties or cave line, but if you'd like, it has a lifetime guarantee for workmanship, just ship it back to Stahl for a better repair. There are 2 pockets, one outside, and a zipper one inside, but I never need them. You need exercise foresight in packing the bag, less gear poke you in the back or sides, but once that's learned, it rocks. Best to get this bag mail order because it will be perfect out of the box, so the best price is always nice. BTW, the rest of the Stahlsac line is NOT as durable as this design, so YMMV.

I really like this pack.. It is inexpensive and comes in variety of colors. I ride a ten speed to the dive boats and locations around here and this allows me to conveniently carry my gear while riding.
It could be a made of stronger materials, but that would increase its cost.

This is one of the best things I have purchased for carrying all my snorkel and day gear. I was used to hauling all my gear around in a mesh carry bag (handles only)and it was always awkward and tired up one of your hands, we hike over lava flows and lots of uneven ground to get to the best spots, and you really need both hands free in these cituations. This bag fixes all of that and now have it all on my back. It holds all my equipment, a towel, underwater camera and dry clothes. You could put two peoples gear in one of these packs but it could get heavy for how we use them. I was willing to load all the gear in one bag but my wife has her own bag and it is very manageable for her. (She is petite) I only regret I did not get it at the price it is now advertised for.(darn) The only thing that takes some getting used to is the top closure cords, but once you figure out the trick, that is no longer a problem.(you have to slide the bag on the lines instead of pulling on the draw cords) You would be nuts not to own one of these bags.
