Comments about Pinnacle Pinnacle Matrix Travel System:

I recently used this system on a Disney cruise/dive vacation where we stayed in 8 different hotel rooms/ship cabin and a few airports, so I did get to test it traveling.

Endeavor (large bag). Wheels (good over semi-rough ground) and handle made maneuvering very easy and it stayed upright unless I had the Kangaroo pack attached to it. Large main compartment, that I used to hold all my dive gear including a full BC and a 3mm full suitand I still had room for the family's snorkel gear and a few odds and ends. Weight at the airport was 47 lbs. and the size was OK.

The Hybrid-carry on I used for personal items and clothing and was the perfect size (it just barely fit in the overhead bin of the aircraft). Pretty comfortable to wear as a pack, but mostly used the wheels and handle. Had some loss of control when racing my kids in the airport, but that's to be expected on a smaller bag. Nice bag that I use for most of my non-dive travel too. It is possible to overstuff this bag and exceed carry-on size restrictions for some airlines.

The Kangaroo daypack was also good and attaches to either of the above bags. My only negative on the system was with this pack. It has a single zipper. I like to have the double zipper so that I can close it with the zippers at the top of the pack. With this, the zipper is at the bottom - meaning if you leave it a couple of inches open, your car keys can easily fall out. This is the pack I like storing all the small, expensive stuff so it is a concern.

Overall I was really happy with this system. A little pricey and I really can't comment on the durability as I really only gave it one really good test. Zippers look maybe not the strongest, but they did hold up well.

I would have no problem packing all my cold water dive gear and a week's worth of clothing in this system.
