Additional nylon cover for added protection. Bag is also available in She Dives version. All Mares bags include rugged and durable construction wheels. With a diameter of 9 cm and a with a tire tread 3cm wide, they can maneuver over streets, through airports and to your dive with no problem. All Mares bag wheels are attached with stainless steel screws. This system makes the wheels much more durable than bags using rivets. With little effort a large piece of luggage can be transformed into a comfortable Backpack. A big pocket positioned under the bag's case contains two soft shoulder straps. In a minuteyour wheeled bag becomes a backpack. Additionally, the innovative Mares x-strap System converts the traditional handles, by attaching to a metal snap hook, into the shoulder straps of the bag. Mares biggest bags, ideal for long trips, are furnished with a telescopic handle. Hidden into a pocket on the top of the bag is a handle, when needed the handle can be extended making it very easy to pull and maneuver the bag, even when filled with diving equipment.

This is an excellent dive bag for airline travel or to transport your gear to other dive locations. The construction of this bag is outstanding. It is apparent they considered factors such as durability, usability, flexibility and cost. Be cautious if flying how much you pack due to weight limitations. We own numerous Mares bags and will continue to purchase them.

I like the bag, as it is spacious and has lots of pockets. Tends to tip over unless weight distribution is observed. Also, can be over-packed, very easily, weight-wise for airlines.
I do recommend this bag.

This is a great dive bag/luggage. I was able to fit 2 sets of fins, 1 pair in each side pocket, as well as the usual gear for 2 divers with no problems at all. There was ample room to fit clothes, other travel items as well. The extra pockets are very handy, and there are a lot of them.
The materials used are top notch and the construction is of very high quality...this bag has been a great investment and I can tell it will last for many, many years to come. This is a very durable bag and probably the best piece of luggage I own.
The only drawback is that the size of the bag is very large and it is very easy to overpack the weight for an international flight...I recently took a trip and had to remove items on both flights due to the weight. Be very cautious of how you pack this bag or you will pay extra at the airline check in counter.
