Used on a 3 week dive trip to Indonesia - absolutely PERFECT. Held my BCD, 2 wetsuits, mask, fins, snorkel plus 3 pair of shoes, and lots of misc. clothing, a towel and music speakers! Super easy to navigate through the airport, easy to use handle, could stack other bag on top and use as carrier. I am super pleased with this purchase. It came through over 15 flights in excellent shape. I am going to use this bag as my general flight bag from now on, not just for diving. Great price, sturdy, has not broken. The 2 big straps are heavy duty. The handle part goes in a zippered area so it doesn't just pop out on it's own. A+. [...]

Holds all my gear needed for cold water diving. I dragged this across 300 yds of rough frozen lake for ice diving and it didn't care. Good stuff.

The bag holds a fair amount of gear but it doesn't hold up to average wear and tear. After a few uses, the plastic "tray" on the base of the bag cracked and broke in multiple areas. The exterior also developed quite a few nicks and small holes from where the fabric deteriorated. I also think it's a poor design with the two quick release straps along the top. Those work fine, but there is only one good strap to attach a bag tag too.
I would also like to see one or two more features on the interior. A little dry sack or one or two small cavities for odds and ends would be a welcome improvement.
While the bag still works ok, I only plan to use it for local dive trips, I'm fearful of a catastrophic failure during baggage handling at an airport.

This is a simple roller duffle that weighs very little for its size. That is good because everything has to fit into 50 pounds (23Kg) in order to check luggage with the airlines.
My wife and I are able to get two BC's, two regulators, two 5mm wetsuits, two sets of fins, two computers and some miscellaneous items into this bag and still be under 50 pounds.
We have used the bag on about 12 trips and there is very little wear. I think we can get about 12 more trips out of it.
The pull out handle is strong enough and the wheels roll well enough. In order to save weight this bag does not have a solid frame around the bottom so it does not stand by itself. That's a reasonable trade off.
Another good aspect of this bag is that it has only two compartments. Baggage inspectors are required to open each compartment while searching. If you have a bunch of little compartments the process slows down quite a lot. Really I would prefer just a single large compartment that lets me organize as I wish.
This bag is almost perfect so I give 4 flags.

This is a great travel bag, air travel, and just getting to a local dive spot.
Once again, Leisure Pro can always be counted on to deliver quality products, quickly.

I seen this bag in a local dive shop for a lot more money.

Great gear bag. Its basic if thats what you need this is what you get. Good deal for what I paid for it. I think the design is great. It doesn't have the top handle but if your carrying your gear might not be best to carry all the weight on a zipper. So I can understand why. Needless, bang for your buck.
Comments about Akona Akona Roller Duffle Bag (AKB226):
Not as durable as I hoped. After first flight the material that covers the handle was ripped down the seam and the handle no longer locked in the middle position. I also bought the matching regulator bag, but even with both bags surrounding my regular, there is nothing rigid to really protect it. Holds all the gear I needed for the trip, but I'm not sure how many trips I'll get out of it before it explodes.

Nice and very functional design. Durable and large enough to carry all your gear. Excellent for transporting gear on planes or as a day-to-day dive bag.

Comments about Akona Akona Roller Duffle Bag (AKB226):
We purchased this bag as an addition to our Akona Evolution Roller Bag. I found it easy to pack with lots of room and it was great for rolling on rough uneven surfaces during our last dive trip. It has the same strong, quality material and zipper as the Evolution. My only complaint is the lack of a top handle that most standard duffel bags have. Not a total deal breaker but it makes it interesting to pick up when tossing it into a vehicle for transport. The straps to help cinch the load tight are a nice plus. This and the Evo bag are both nice for tall people looking for a gear bag that will not beat up the backs of your legs or heals when walking with them. I would have given it top marks had they included a better handle to carry over gravel or deep sand.
