This bag is really well made. I like the way you can attach the straps in different ways to give you either extra strength or handles where you need. Tough mesh material and this thing is HUGE. I can easily fit ALL my gear in this!

I've had this bag for over 4 years and haul my gear in it 1-2 times per week. So it's seen a lot of use...

Overall, I have been very happy with this bag, I can fit all my bulky and heavy gear (including 7mm wetsuit and small tool kit) into it with plenty of room to spare. The zipper design makes it ultra-easy to access the bag and the open mesh top facilitates drying...

After the first year, the clips on the shoulder strap broke under strain and I replaced the strap with a heavier-duty version - no problems since. Only after years of hard use is the bottom starting to get some very small wear holes.

This is not a bag designed for air travel, but I would strongly recommend it for local boat / shore diving use...

I (we) have used this bag heavily for over 5 years on trips and on my boat diving. Heavy duty, rugged! On trips this is the bag I use to drag my gear from the hotel to the dive boat and back. After a boat dive, throw the whole bag in the rinse tank... agitate...then pull it out to drain until you get back to hang stuff up. Great handles and straps.

I bought this bag for a wreck diving trip in NC. It worked great and hauled all my gear- 3mm wet suit, gloves, BC, regs, fins, etc. However, it does not have a dry pocket like other Akona bags. A small dry bag is a must if you are going to use this bag. Overall, very happy and it worked great!

I am torn between backpack dive bags and duffel bags. Backpack bags are easier to haul heavy dive gear longer distances but are harder to load and unload on a rocking crowded dive boat. For easy loading/unloading this bag can't be beat. The shoulder strap is very strong. Have used for over 3 years and never worry about shoulder strap tearing off. Plan to order another. Durable, huge, great quality, highly recommended.

I was looking for a large capacity bag that would handle everything - wetsuit or dry suit, fins, backplate with wings, regulator plus...... Also wanted it to fold up small enough to be packable and also not hog space under the benches on the boat. I did not want pockets etc.. they are superfluous for me. This bag fills the bill exactly, in fact it has extra space even when I load the whole mess into it. I have even taken to using it as a general purpose duffel when on above water trips. Good quality stitching etc.. Good value.

As a divemaster, I haul a lot of gear to and from the site. You never know what the student will need or forgot to bring. This bag is light, very durable, and very roomy. Except when I dive dry, and use a seperate bag for my drysuit and undergarments, this is the only bag I need.

This product works really great at the divesite. All of your equipment is all in the huge space. Although it's great at the site, carrying a lot of gear to and from the site is a pain. Wouldn't recommend for your only bag, but it's great for boat diving!
