EZ Spring Fin Strap - Recreational Diver, Black
Questions about this item:
Why Did You Choose This?
JIM W I needed a new fin strap because my old ones broke. I like the snap on fitting. These are good straps and easy to use.
TIMOTHY W These are especially useful for difficult shore diving techniques and for easy putting on and removal while boat diving!
RICHARD M inexpensive and easy to use
RANDY K Modified my Mares Plana Avanti fins because I hated the proprietary buckle system they came with.
KATHY C Recommended by a friend for ease of putting fins on. Good purchase.
DONALD D Very easy to get off and on. Very comfortable.
WILLIAM D easy on and off!
CHRISTA L The best fin straps...no more unbuckling. Just slip them off and on your heel.
STEVEN S easy entry and release
RICHARD A EZ on EZ off, what could be better?
DEAN R To replace the adjustable straps on my fins. I loce the spring straps
JACQUELINE B Spring straps are great for getting my fins on and of easily!
WILLIAM L springs are much more robust and easier to remove than straps
I just purchased a pair of Cressi Palau long fins and a pair of Cressi Pro light long fins. After reading reviews about the straps breaking it seems prudent to purchase extra straps. Do these fit both model fins even if they are made differently?
work on aqualung blades? How do I figure what size I need?
BOB R I labored over the same question. Best answer is to ask LeisurePro. They are very helpful.
Here's what I did. I wear a size 11 shoe (men's). I figured that's more than medium and less than extra large so I bought the large size. They fit great. I REALLY like them!
I'll also tell you that the manufacturer stands behind these straps. I pulled through the loop in the back and the sent me a replacement with no questions asked. I learned the pull loops are not indestructible.
Also, I know from past experience the LeisurePro is very good about exchanges.
BRUCE J I use a large with my large Mares fins and wet suit boots and an extra large with my extra large Mares fins and DUI dry boots.
These particular fins staps are nice because the distribute the pressure on the back of your heal evenly and don't begin to hurt after a couple of dives, like the one with bare springs from OMS. They are also easier to take off in the water.
DAVID B I use them on my Aqualung Sling Shots. They make life alot easier. Unfortunately I can't help you with sizing. I work at a large dive operation and was able to try other diver's straps on for fit.
EDWARD S Follow directions on product description for sizing. Make sure you are wearing whatever booties you plan to wear with the fins. Dont forget that heavier boots will shrink at depth and fin pocket will become a bit looser. I believe they work with any standard post fin. Sizing unfortunately other than following their formula is a hit or miss proposition. I like my fins for dives or where I have to remove my fins in the water a little looser then when I can use a "fins on" boat ladder. Personal preference. Also booties with fin keepers on the heel will allow slightly looser straps work also.
Is this strap compatible with the current model of Cressi Frog Plus? I see in a prior comment that we would need to swap out the female buckle, but my concern is that the fins do not have a post for the female buckle, rather the fin has a notch in it that the tab from the female buckle inserts into.
Monica s This strap will not fit the current model, you need the notch, and the male portion will not go into the cressi buckle.
I have a pair of Mares Wave Open heel fins. Will these straps fit that model?
Kasia W Yes, EZ Spring Fin Strap will work with Mares Wave Open Heel fins. They are great, well made and durable.
They should, I put them on mares quatros
Pooja R Thank you, David. Appreciate your prompt reply !
DAVID S I have 2 sets of these same ones, same set fit my mares and other is on my rubber no name ones and they have been great one set of springs is 2 years and hundreds of dives the other is about a year and they had been one of my better desicions
My foot size 9-10(27cm), with Mares Quattro (size regular), from pin to another pin, rounding my heel is 33-34cm.
am I having a wrong measurement? what size should I buy? plz help
BOB R You can call Leisure Pro for advice. I think a medium would fit OK.
Will these fit on Aqualung Slingshot fins ?
Michael C Yes these spring straps will fit with the Aqualung slingshot fins.
what brands does it work with?
KURT K I use mine with Aqua Lung Caravelle fins. Worth every penny.
WILLIAM D I use them on tusa splits but as far as I know any open foot fin they will work with. Makes exit a lot easier!
KEVIN M These will work with any fins with a standard peg for attaching strap buckles. Note the spring strap's buckles have a small notch projection that will first need to be cut away with an utility knife if your fin's peg does not have a matching notch. Also note the quick connect on the spring strap may not be compatible with the existing fin's quick connect.
KEVIN M They will work with any brand of fin that has a standard peg for strap buckle attachment. Note there is a little notch projection inside the strap's buckle that will first need to be cut away with a utility knife if your fin's peg does not have a receiving notch. Also note that the strap's quick connect buckles may not be compatible with any pre-existing quick connect buckles already on the fins.
WALTER C I use it on the Aeries Mako and it works great...the strap looks like a universal fit unless the attachment point for the strap is something unusual. I can't vouch for any fit other than the Aeries fins.
BETH A They work on aqua-lung blades II and any others that have that type connection.
LAIMA K I have Aquaflex genesis fins and they work great. I love the easy spring pull on and off of the spring style strap.
PHILIP N Works great, no problems.
Will these work with Cressi Frog Plus?
Michael C They will work, but you will have to take the buckles off the fins and replace them with the ones that come with the spring straps. We also sell the Cressi spring straps. Those will fit the fins without having to replace the buckles.
I've purchased the EZ spring fin strap for my twin jet fins, but the clips are different, so I figure I'll replace the female clip part as well, but I cant find anywhere on how to replace them. Does anyone know how to do this or where to find out how.?
WILLIAM D did u call the mfg.?
MARCO A The female clips can be taken off by sliding them toward the tip of the fin (away from the heel).
GARY M S I never used the straps, I bought them when I bought the Mare extreme fins and after I got the fins I realized that Mares changed their straps to a much better design so I return the strap. sorry I can't be of any help
RYAN H You can search on the major internet video site youtube for "How to replace Snorkeling Fin Strap". That will show you the process.
You'll want to un-buckle the strap, change the female buckles and then install new spring strap.
Good luck and safe diving.
Marilyn S I don't know about the female ends but the spring strap you'd want for the twin jets are the EZ Spring Strap for Scuba Pro Twin Jet Fins SKU: AQUEZT.
Is this spring strap comparable with the Aqualung Express Adjustable fin?
DAVID S only fins i had issue with was an older pair of scubapro fins. I have them on jet fins, AL quatros, and makos
RICHARD M I can't answer directly because I haven't tried them on an Aqualung product.
I've installed them on Tusa fins and a couple of other brands with the "post" that holds the fin strap connector to the fin.
The post is about 1/2" in diameter with a larger top to hold the connector, i.e. a round cut-out in the connector fits over the larger top and then the connector slides in a notch over the post (and under the top.
If you could compare your fins to a pair of Tusa then you should be able to judge if the straps will fit yours.
Marilyn S These should fit your Aqualung Express Adjustable fins.
MICHAEL M I am using them on Apollo Bio-Fin Pro Fins and they do the job but are not as secure a fit to the fin as I would like. Am not sure about Aqualung unless they have the same mounting
Will the ez spring strap fit the Mares Raptor fin and how do I know what size to buy?
JEFFREY K Buy two sizes and return one. They have a very good return policy.
Can i install in mares x-strean and oceanic viper ?
John B I'm sorry, but I don't own the two brands you mentioned so I couldn't give an honest answer to your question.
TRAVIS V only if they take standard buckles
MICHAEL A These spring straps will the vast majority of fins with the round post design.I dont have any personal experience with mares and oceanic fins, sorry.
JAMES S They fit Mares Volo's so they should probably fit the x-stream
can i install mares xtrean and oceanic viper ?
Wich the size for me , my boots is number 9 and my fin is medium?
WILLIAM F Sorry I put mine on a dacor fin.
My boot boot is number 9, and my fin is Medium (mares-xtrean), The size for trap is medium ?
WILLIAM D Dependends if you wear a boot with your fins! If no; the size would be medium as I wear a largew/5mm boot! Let me know if that helps!
BOB R Thr guys at Leisure Pro probably answer that a lot better but I would say your answer is yes.
EUGENE W It has been several years since I bought my spring straps. from what I remember is that I ordered the large size for my Cressi fins. The straps were too long so I returned them and got the medium size which turned out to be just right. They are great straps, easy to use. I dive mostly on the East coast of FL. The dive boat I use requires that I take my fins off in the water to climb the ladder. These strtaps make that pretty easy, even in rough seas.
Are these spring straps very size specific? I sometimes share my fins with my wife, If I use my slip on fins, she might use my full foot, but sometimes I will use my full foot and she will use her full foot split fin.
Thus if she wears my full foot fin, her feet is all the way in the pocket, where mine would be sticking out a bit. Will the springs accommodate that kind of stretch? Her feet would be like size 7 male, and mine would be 8.5-9.
WILLIAM D not sure but would think so!
If you dont mind having tighter than usual straps and hers a bit loose you should be fine
L W I would presume it would be just right on her and tight on me. I demo'd a pair of fins that were 1 size too large for me and had spring clips on...spring ddin't feel loose, but the whole dive, it felt like the fins were not on my feet anymore.
Can they operate in stretched mode the whole dive or will they snap?
EDWARD S I dont think you can snap them if you tried. They are very sturdy.
JOSEPH W Not sure the physical limit if the spring can stretch to but I would not get a size too small or too loose. Too loose, your feet fallout. Too tight, it is very uncomfortable & I have seen other divers spring broke. The spring straps are a must time & I always bring the old straps as spares on trips.
Will they work with Atomic Aquatics Split Fins?
WILLIAM D don't have those fins but feel that they would fit!
ROBERT W No, I bought them in hopes that they would be a cheap alternative to the Atomic springs but the posts on the Atomic fins and the clips on these springs do not match up.
ROBERT S Yes its what I use them on. Check you measurements to get the right size.
Will these fit my Mares X-Stream fins?
JACOB R I don't know. I have the Scubapro Twin Jet Max fins and they're great-easy on, easy off and stay snug underwater. Check the Mares Web site. Sorry.
Is this a pair of fin straps or a single fin strap?
LEONARD T It's a pair. Well worth the $$
ROBERT M They are sold as a pair, one for each fin.
RICHARD B It is a pair and they've been good for me...
TERAN S A pair. I love them!
Shelley R Yes this is the price for the pair, I ordered these about a year ago for my Apollo Bio Fins and I love them! Just follow the instructions for sizing.
EARL B It's a pair. They work great!
JOHN K They come as a pair
WILLIAM D a pair of fin straps!enjoy them
MICHAEL E It is was a pair when I purchased them over a year ago to put on my Mares Volo fins. They work like a charm, snug but not uncomfortable and piece of mind that they will not break like rubber ones I had break in the water.
JOHN T They are sold in pairs, (2 spring straps, one for each fin).
im purchasing regular avanti 3 fin..what size spring?
JOHN R I bought the large, but They are big, I am replacing with the smaller size, I wear a 10 1/2 shoe.
EARL B You have to measure. See the chart...
ROBERT B Use the measurements as advised in the ordering instructions. They worked wonderfully for me.
JOSEPH W Nothing to do with the brand of your fins. Match the spring to your own feet.
Great straps however I ALWAYS bring the old straps on dive trip as spares. It is not uncommon losing fin straps during a liveaboard trips. Best fishes to u.
MIKE K I got these last year and the are great! As far as size I went with fin size I put them on. I use a regular fin or medium I got the MD size and it was a good fit. The springs are strong but stretchy and make putting on fin a snap. By the way I used them weekly for over a year and they have held up great. I recommend them to all my students.
could you tell me the perfect size for me,my shoe size is 10 ?
RICHARD Z It depends not on your shoe size but the fin and how your shoe fits in it. Put your fin on and measure from stud to stud and subtract 1 1/2 to 2"
ROBERT M the best thing to do is follow the sizing instructions given for these straps.Worked for me.
CORKY J D I am a size 7 1/2 and I ordered the small
Will these fit CRESSI Reaction Fins?
BORIS T Yes it does fit them. They are very useful when you coming out on boat. Makes life easier.
JUAN V I don't know if it will fit Cressi fins. I used them on Mares Volo Power fins.
CHRIS W Theses straps should fit. These straps are universal and are easy to swap out.
Will this fit the Cressi Master Frog Fins?
BETHANY B I put mine on a pair of Cressi's - not the master frog fins, but I think they should work.
They are the best straps ever invented - they make putting fins on incredibly easy, you won't be disappointed.
EDWARD G I'm using mine with mares split fins. In looking up Cressi Master Frog fins, the strap attachment seems to be the same but I can't be sure without seeing the actual fin.
does it works with the aqua lung slingshot fins?
KATHY C I'm not sure what kind of fins I have since my dive equipment is kept with my dive buddy's equipment. I would imagine these would fit any standard fins. I absolutely recommend them...I can't imagine using anything else. They make putting on and taking off so easy!
SHANE M Yes they work with pretty much any fin as they snap into their own receptacle that goes on the post after you slide aqualungs off
FABRIZZIO C I don't know buy mine broke on the 5 dive. I am not use if I will buy them again
MARTIN P I have only used them on the Cressi Mares fins and the Atomic Split fins so I can't be certain. However, if the strap you are currently using has the standard round post assembly, they should be just fine.
my size of boots are 10 7mm should i go with the medium or large and my wife is 6 is the small one to small ?
JIM B I suggest you go with the medium and your wife the small. I wear 5mm boots size 11 and medium is just fine for me.
BOGUSLWAW O you should buy size medium , your wife size small
DANIEL H I would go with the large for you and a medium for your wife
Can someone explain what "pin" I am supposed to be measuring from? I have Oceanic Vipers, and have no idea where the "pin" is. Thanks!
SEAN Q the big round knob when you pull the old strap housing off.
JORY P Remove the current straps and measure from the mounts
BILLY G Sorry Thumy W, hard to explain in words but I will try. I am not familiar with your specific brand of fins but many brands have the same standard strap connection setup.
These spring straps completely replace the straps that come on your fins. On each side of your fins there is a "pin" that holds the straps on. The ends of the straps slip over these pins and then snap into place by pulling back on them. These pins stick up from the sides of your fins with about a 1/4" space underneath the head and are like a screw head that you would hang a wall clock on.
I have bought three pairs of these, two yellow and one black and I love them. The first pair (Yellow) were on a pair of fins I lost on one of my dive trips to Mexico. They fell out of the boat and being that these straps they are metal the fins sunk right away. The second pair (also Yellow) are on my replacement fins and the black are backups.
These spring straps make it very easy to get your fins on and off, in or out of the water. You don't have to mess with adjusting your straps every time you put them on or take them off. Just pull your fin on and pull the strap up over your heal and it fits tight enough you will not loose it. To take it off, you pull the strap back off your heal and down then pull or push forward to remove the fin.
Does anyone know if these fit Atomic fins?
AL D Sorry, don't know much about Atomic fins. I bought them for SCUBAPRO Twin Jet fins and they work great.
LEE LING E Yes, it fits my atomic "smoke on the water" fins.
TRAVIS V These fit fins with a standard buckle such as Tusa Liberator, Deep Sea Pulse, Aqualungs, etc. Compare the photos of those fins on this website to see if their "standard" buckle is similar to yours. If you have the new Atomic Envy Split-Fins, you aren't going to do any better than the strap and buckle they came with..those may already be the best.
John B Got me on that one. I own Apollo Bio Fins and HOG Jet fins. Don't know if they would or not.
What size would you recommend for my Mares Excel Plus fins that are XL and worn with booties size 11?
EUGENE H I think these run large - with an XL fin and 11 Bootie try a Large
BRUCE J I have a size 12 shoe and use an large strap with my neopreme boot and Mares size large fins.
What size should I buy for size 11 shoes and L/XL Oceanic v8'?
PAUL M I bought a set of these in 2008. Put them on a pair of Poseidon Fins XL, and I wear size 10 Boot. Still working well to this day.
PHILIP M I wear size 12 shoes. I use medium spring straps with my wet suit boots, and large straps with my dry suit rock boots. Your best bet is to put your foot in your boot and stick it in your fin, then measure from one strap holder post on the fin and around your heel to the other post. You then compare your measurement with the chart that LeisurePro provides. If you find that it's not quite the right size when you get the straps, LeisurePro has a good exchange policy. My EZ Spring Straps are excellent and have withstood a lot of rugged use.
i have the Mares excel Plus Opne heel fins in XL. Will these fit my brand and should i get them in XL as well?
DEREK O They will work with your fins.
As to the correct size - that's something you have to determine. Go back and read the product description...which tells you how to select the correct size. In the description where they say 'pin' - they are talking about the large plastic 'lug' or 'post' with a 'shoulder'. It's molded onto the fin body. That 'lug' is the attachment point for any fin strap. 'Pin' is quite possibly a misleading choice of words.
If you don't know how to get the current strap off, go to Youtube and watch the video titled: 'How to replace Snorkeling Fin Strap'. It actually will take a bit more force than what they show in the video.
If you're still in doubt about size after reading the description, ask Leisurepro sales people for a confirmation.
GREGORY L I bought these straps for my wife's Mares fins. I found the first pair to be too small for her (I ordered a small) so we exchanged them for a pair of mediums and now she won't dive without them. Absolutely loves the easy "on/off" they provide. I highly recommend them.
I have the Super Rocket Fins and wear a size 13 shoe. Will these fit my brand and what size should I purchase?
RANDY K If they have standard pegs on the fins, yes. I have Mares Plana Avanti fins and they work. I'd buy the large size
MICHAEL B I have these and love them! They come in a number of sizes and my suggestion is try them first! Probably you need large but go to LP with fins and boots and experiment :)
ROBERT M It has been some time since I bought my set. As I recall, I had to get the Large size to fit my foot in Scubapro Twin Jet Fins. I wear a 101/2 shoe. I tried medium and they were too tight. The Large are a good fit. If you can find a size that fits you, they are well worth the price. They're much easier to use than the standard rubber or plastic straps that come with the fins.
EARL B These won't work with rocket fins, turtle fins, jet fins, or any other fin which has the old-style (pull) strap assemblies. They're only good with strap assemblies which attach to the fin on extruded pins, rather than metal buckles. 'Hope this helps!
JOSEPH W Awesome. Fit just right and tight enough. Easy on easy off when needed.
I have these straps already but I have sheared off one of the male parts of the buckle so I am looking to replace the buckle only. It comes off with 2 screws and I would like to replace it instead of buying new straps as mine are glow in the dartk green which are hard to come by. Is such a buckle available for purchase?
WILLIAM D I am really not sure as it hasn't happened to me. Your best bet would be to get a hold of Leisure Pro and see if they have the part and then go from there. There other thing would be to see if there is a 2nd hand pair for sale and by them and then have the spare parts that you need. Good Luck;Willie
JACQUELINE B You would probably need to contact the manufacturer of EZ straps directly. They would be your best bet for getting a 'Glow in the Dark" buckle. Good Luck!
BOB R They have a lifetime guarantee. I had the same problem and Leisure Pro sent me a new strap right away. I was very pleasantly impressed.
Frank L No, we do not sell just the buckle.
will these dit on the edge expedition fins?
NEIL S don't know. I put them on Apollo bio fins I bought back in 2000ish. check out the pics. If you can remove the buckle from your fins and have a round "nub" that the buckle attaches to, they should fit. But if they don't, it just costs you a few buck shipping to return them.
Will these fit TUSA Liberator X-Ten Dive Fins? SKU: TBTF50
RICHARD K I love mine. They fit my mares quatros. I think they will fit any fin with the "disk on a post" at
TRAVIS V Liberator fins have a typical (nothing fancy) strap buckle, so these should be interchangeable. FYI- I wear a size 9.5 USA shoe and the Med size spring strap was the best fit.
LEE LING E Not sure but they fit both my TUSA Xpert zooms and Apollo bio fins. These spring straps make donning your fins absolutely a breeze. Would not go back to traditional straps.
Do these work with Tusa X-Pert Zoom Z3 fins?
RICHARD Z They worked fine on my expert zooms
PETER D I bought these for Apollo Split fins and they fit just fine - I believe that the Tusa fins also have the standard fin "lug" that the straps attach to. If in between sizes - I recommend you go for shorter rather than longer as there is no adjustment.
I use two different boots with my fins. In the warmer months 3mm and then 7mm in the colder months, so boots are different sizes. Does this mean these straps or spring straps in general won't work for me?
ROBERT P I've used the EZ Spring Fin Strap for some years now & have never had a problem with them. They hold tight and are very convenient. They work will with either my full dry suit or with my boots.
MARY L I use my straps with all of my boots. They are springs so they stretch.
WILLIAM F I can't say with certainty, but my guess would be that the springs would stretch enough to work with both boots. You might try to put on each boot and take a measurement to see how much difference there is to get a better idea if the springs would stretch.
Hope this helps.
JAMES H I use them summer or winter. Very versitile. I wouldn't use anything else
PAUL M I use a 3mm NRS ATB boot in the summer, and a Seasoft 5mm boot in colder water enviroments. These spring straps work well with both pair of boots I have.
ASHLEY S Switching between 3mm & 7 mm shouldn't matter. I bought the wrong size at first... For me, the correct size of fin strap was ONE SIZE SMALLER than the size of the fins. This was true of multiple brands of fins I have.
JUSTIN P The spring straps can accommodate varying boot thicknesses easily. The only issue you could run into is if they are too big to start with. My wife has small feet and the spring strap is too large to securely hold her foot (I think she is a size 6 or 7). In my case, they worked great and I highly recommend them.
they are so called for this very reason. The spring maintains constant tension for a range of sizes. So yes, you can use either boot with the straps. The fitment problem would be, do your two types of boots fit the foot pocket of your fins? If so, then, no problem.
Brooke N I was thinking because my boots stick out at different lengths that it might pose a problem. I should probably get the springs that fit best for the boots I use the majority of the time (3mm) and then hopefully they'd work for my thicker boots too?
Has anyone used these on SeaQuest Thruster fins?
If the Seaquest fins have a "standard button" onto which straps are fastened then they should work. My are installed on Mares Plana Avanti fins.
Kay P Thanks! I'm ordering some!!
ROBERT M I have not used them on SeaQuest fins. I have used them on ScubaPro and Apollo Biofins and have been very satisfied with them. They are much easier to put on and take off, especially in the water, than standard straps.
JOHN T I purchased these and have over 100 dives on them. And they haven't failed me yet. However, the little pull-loop did tear out on one strap. I love'em as do all my dive buddies that use them. I'll probably never go back to the 'manufacturer provided' fin straps.
work for scubapro jet fin?
MARCO A Yes, I have them on mine.
BOB R They are universal unless your fins are special in some sort of way. I've used them on several different brands of fins and they work on all.
Will these fit Cressi Reaction Open Heel fins?
would these fit with the scubapro seawing nova?
FRANK H I can't answer that. Unfortunately I purchased these to go on an old pair of Beauchat (sp?) fins and they DID NOT WORK. They simply didn't stay on the fins. Maybe you would have better luck but I can't help sorry.
Will these fit Cressi Rondine fins ???
WILLIAM F Don't know. I put mine on Dacor Fins.
GARY M S I have he Mares fins and not the Cressi. I do know at y wife has scuba pro fins and they both have the same size clips if that helps you
BRIAN H Can't answer that one. I use them on my Mares Volos and they work pretty well. I like the little rubber finger loop - a lot easier to snag and remove when bouncing around the back of a boat hanging onto the ladder.
So see if your fins use the same strap attachment as the Volo.
John B I really couldn't say since, I don't own the Cressi.
Will these work with oceanic vipers fins?
DUSTAN B I'm not familiar with the Oceanic viper fins that you mentioned. However, the clips didn't fit my fins, so I just took them off and added the springs to the clips off my fins. If you are just a little bit handy with tools it shouldn't be a hard job. This is, of course, if the clips don't fit your fins.
BOB R Yes. They will fit any standard fin, the clip in-ends are universal.
THOMAS B I bought these straps and have used them on both my Cressi and Scuba Pro fins. To me they are a universal fin strap and should fit on most types of fins. Easy on and off and work as intended. If your fins have the standard round on 2 sides and flat on the other 2 sides style, these should work as intended. Check your fins to see if you can swivel the strap 90 degress and remove by pulling straight out to view sides of fin. God luck. You can always return.
RANDY K I would guess yes they will if the fin post is nonproprietary. Mine fit onto my Mares Plana Avanti fins with a little encouragement. They are a tremendous enhancement to these fins. Bottom line, Leisure Pro will refund your $$ if they don't....just costs you shipping.
NATHAN M Sorry....I don't know the answer
I have atomic split fins, will these fit my fins?
NEIL S I put them on two sets of Apollo Bio-fins. I think all modern upscale fins have the same type of coupler, so you sould have no problem.
ROBERT D They worked with slight modification on my Volo's...
do these fit the mares avanti quatro fins?
JACQUELINE B I got them for my Mares Volo Power fins, and they fit great. I did have a use a paring knife and cut off a little tab where it connects to the fin, but no big deal. The Spring straps work great, I love how easy it is to get my fins on and off now!
Will this strap fit on the Cressi Frog plus fins? Do I have to remove the buckles and install these ones or will it fit in the female adapter? Thanks.
KWOK L yes, you have to remove the female adapter before install the strap.
MARY L They work great on Mares Volo and Aeris Velosity XP, but I had to remove the buckles on both.
I have a mares plana avanti x3 fins and I had a blue reef spring (SKU: BLREZP) large size, but the spring broke with less than one year of use. I'm really disappointed with this brand.
I would like to know if EZ Spring Fin Strap fits to my fins. If yes, what size do I need?
ERIC W Put your boot into your fin and measure from center of the pin to center of the other pin and get the size smaller then your measurement. Im not sure if they will fit your fin. Maybe someone else can help you out with that one...
LEANNE F I don't know exactly what your fins look like, but I use mine on my Apollo Bio-fins that have the button on the side. My fins are size large and the straps I believe I bought were large as well and ok fine. I am a dry suit diver in Monterey and use these over "rock boots". I have had these since 2006. ??
KEVIN M If your fins have the standard strap attachment pegs on the side they will fit. I bought mine a size smaller than what I needed. I used medium on a large fin. The large springs were not tight enough for my liking. Buy the mediums, if they are too small LP will swap you the right size for free.
SM 6", MD 7", LR 8", XL 9" - are these measurements right? I measured pin to pin, and for me it's 10.5 inches. I subtract 1.5 and that puts me at 9 inches. This means I should order an XL?? On the comments here I've read people with longer measurements getting the L or M and that working for them. Please advise what size I should get if my pin to pin measurement is 10.5 inches. Thanks.
RICHARD A My large measure 13.5 from pin to pin, if by pin to pin you mean the pins on the fins. In your case, I would recommend a small and keep in mind that Leisurepro has an excellent return policy.
I wear an Oceanic Small, should I get a small size here as well?
JEFF M They fit snug, so maybe a medium. The staff at Liesure Pro are better suited to answer specific questions
MARILYN D I would not waste my money. Mine broke the first trip and I had to send them back.
BOB R Might want to go one size larger. They are very flexible. Mine were a bit tight and I pulled through the rear loop. Due to the lifetime warranty they were replaced with no hassle.
Leisure Pro is very easy to deal with on returns, so maybe order two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit as well. Also, please consult the size chart on thier site.

MIKE K Hi I bought the small and the med for my wife and daughter both wear size small fins but one wears size 6 and one wears size 7 and the two sizes worked fine for them. PS they both wear booties as well.
EUGENE W If I were you I would get the small size. Originally, I ordered the large size and had to send it back to exchange it for the medium size. I hope this helped. By the way, This one of the better dive purchases I have made!
ERIC W Place your boot into your fin. Measure from one pin around your boot to the other connecting pin on your fin. Order a fin strap size the same size or one smaller then your measurement. Its best to be a little tighter then loose.
DOMINIC P Hello, my wfe uses the small and loves this product. So order the small. But I bought her a set of summer easy on soft boots and with the soft soul it was to loose. So you need to wear a boot that has a hard shoe like soul. Good luck
Hi, I have Aqualung Express Adjustable Fins Regular and I can use this Spring Fin Strap ? Thanks
DEBORAH C If you have the standard click in type of straps, these straps can be used. I have the Apollo Split Fins and have no problem using these straps. They made getting in and out of my fins a whole lot easier.
ERIK K You should have no problems using this strap. Just make sure you get the correct measurements and follow the recommendations for strap size. Happy Diving.
RON G The spring straps can be used on any open heal fin with lugs. The ease of doning, and undoning your fins id great!
Does this fit the scubapro jet sport fins?
DON S Not totally sure but I have put them on my appollos and on other scuba pro finhey wills before, most likely they will
ROBERT C I don't think so. Or turtle fins
ROBERT D i used mine on a pair of volo's
DAVID S I have Aqua lung fins so I have no idea about the scuba pro fins. I would call LeisurePro with that question. These are a great product but I would caution you to make sure they fit just right as they are NOT adjustable in length.
JEFF M I am not sure, they fit most fins. The folks at Leisure are the ones that told me who h fins I could retrofit. I put them on Aerial finsl
RONI K I'm not familar with Scubapro Jet Sport Fins. The EZ Spring Fin Straps fit any fins with a standard buckle. I use them for year - highly recommended.
Debra N No not the classic jet fins, I meant the new jet sport fins (comes in red, blue, black) which uses quick release buckles.
Any idea if these straps will fit?
JAMES L ScubaPro Jets (you did mean classic Jet Fins didn't you?) need the older wire/pin style strap ends. EZ Spring Grip-Tight will work with them, OMS Slipstreams and such.
What size should I order for the Apollo Bio Fin Pro Mediums?
MARY L Shelly,
The size of the EZ spring all depends on the size of your boots in your fins
I bought the small and medium EZ springs and tried them on with my boots and fins. For example, my boots are size 8 and Mares fines are medium 7 to 9,
Medium fits well. I wish the EZ sponge had a measurement in inches as recommendation for the correct size of spring and boot.
Good luck. The EZ spring is one the best investments I have made.
RICHARD Z Put the fin on your foot then measure from stud to stud and subtract about 1 1/2"
ERIC W Place your boots into your fins and measure from the center of the pin to the center of the pin on the other side and get a strap size that is smaller then that measurement.
Hello.. what size will work with atomic split fins that are large?
DEAN R My boots are size 7 and my fins are medium TUSA xpert zoom.
I love the straps but there is not a lot of "spring" so size is important. For what you describe, I suggest the largest size avaliable. I have found that Leisure Pro is very good and prompt if you need to exchange for another size. Good luck.
CHRIS B Remove your current fin strap and place your foot (with booty) into the fin. Take a tape and measure the distance from the strap attachment post around your heel to the other attachment post. This will indicate the length of spring you need, but be sure not to buy any length that is longer than the measurement.
Since you are using Atomic fins, you should also double-check that these straps or compatible with your fins - because Atomic fins typically use a different-sized strap attachment post.
Good luck and safe diving!
MARY L I bought both small and medium ez springs for my size 9 boots. Small was a little tight. Meduim was a better fit. I would judge by the boot size.
MYSTIC T Medium size straps should work great for you.
DAWN R Back in May, 2010, I purchased a size medium EZ Spring Fin Strap (AQUEZR) for my Scubapro Fin Twin Jet Max Fins which are size small. I guessed at the size I needed. The Spring Fin Strap fits perfectly for me and is a perfect length, easy to get on and off/not too loose (size small Spring Strap would have bee too small). The Straps have lasted well and show no signs of rubber wear or spring rust. For your large fins, you would need a large or even extra large since there is only a 7/8" difference between the large and extra large. You could always order both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit right (that is Strap is hard to stretch on and off or is too loose). Make sure the strap latch that connects to your fin is the correct one - I verified this with LeisurePro by phone because there are different clips on different straps. I am not sure the clip type of your atomic split fins. I hope this helps. But, I am very happy with my Spring Fin Straps and would never go back to the standard fin strap. And the LeisurePro price is great!
JOHN D The snap part of these straps fit all the Atomic fins. The size choice you determine is based on how long the strap needs to be based on having your foot with boot in the pocket. See the below instructions:
How to select your fin Spring Strap
Insert your Dive Boot into your fin pocket with a measuring tape, measure the distance from the Center of one pin, around your boot heel, to the Center of the pin on the other side of the fin. Select the spring strap size that is SHORTER than your measurement by 1/2" to 1 1/2".
So a person with a size 12 boot may have a different length strap then someone using a size 10. The thickness of your boot's neoprene and boot configuration could influence this widely.
Hope that helps.
ROBERT B Wish I could help, I bought these springs in a small size ror the Sling Shot fins. So as to fit, I cannot help, however these were the second set I have bought. I wouldn't have a fin without the EZ Spring Strap. They are easy off and on and the stainless springs look new after a few years in salt water. Great product. Hope this helps.
Hello will these fit Mares Raptor fins? (ladies 7-10 small), I assume that I would need the small size?
CRAIG T If you have the standard round attachment on your Mares fins and I think they are, these should work for you. We bought the small for my wife and it sounds like you wear the same size fins. Once you go to the spring straps you will never go back, I have them on my warm water and my drysuit fins.
LEE A Can not say if they will fit your fins. Snaps are universal. If I recall there
is a good size chart on product. You will not like them If they're too small.
Otherwise a great product. Easy on and off without adjustment.
JEFF M Originally I bought the small size for my wife, but she needed medium for her Aeris fins. The tension is strong, and after 75 dives, the finger loop broke. We like them, but make sure they are the right size. I have Raptor fins and these would connect to my fins.
MARY L Becky,
I bought small for my Volo.
BOB R Hi Becky,
Yes, they should snap right in to replace your original straps.
I've been happy with mine, however recently the pull handle on one pulled through. It's not a big deal since I unbuckle to remove anyway, and putting them on without the pull strap is easy.
ERIK K Becky,
Measure from the center post on each side of your fin around your heel, and then pick the closest match. They should fit the Mares fins, and you'll love the way they work.
MYSTIC T Hi Becky,
These are really great straps. A small size should fit you and your Raptor fins just fine.
DENISE A D F I do not know if they will fit Mares Raptor fins specifically. They do fit "standard" attachments for fins.
ROBERT C I put them on a pair of limited edition edition excels to replace those goofy quick release dealies. i really like them. I also put a paie on my turtle fins i use for cold water. They should work. They wont work on scuba pros...i know that. I think i got the small one also...i like my fins tight.
KEVIN M The ones I bought I returned. They run a little on the big side. I would order the small ones. LP will take them back if you dont like them. They are a quality item, I did not like the fins i was putting them on.
Will these fit the Scubapro Twin Jet Max fins?
LeisurePro S Yes, these will fit the Twin Jet Max fins.
Will these straps work with Oceanic Viper fins?
Check out these
straps for the Vipers.
When I measure from pin to pin on my fins I get about 15". What size springs would I need?
LeisurePro S I would recommend the large strap.

I have a pair of blades II flex fins. Will these straps fit?
I have a pair of Aqualung US Diver's Super Rocket Fins. Will these straps fit and if so, what size should I order? Thanks.
LeisurePro S These should fit your Aqualung fins. I would recommend ordering one size smaller than your fins.
Will these straps work on Apollo bio-fin pro fins?
No, I would check out these
made specifically for the apollo line.
Will these fit Cressi Frog fins?
Elizabeth S I have a ten-year old set of Cressi Frogs that have the standard post/buckle arrangement. I've seen earlier in this thread that these straps will work on any fin with that configuration. Can you clarify please, whether these straps will work on my fins, and if not, why not? Thanks!
My wife and I both have Mares Avanti fins. Post to post around the back of my boot is 13 inches. Post to post on her fins is 12 inches. What sizes of EZ Spring Straps (w/ quick releases) do you recommend for each?
LeisurePro S I know, sizing spring straps can be confusing! Take your post to post measurements, subtract appx. .5 - 1.5 inches and then order that size. So that would translate into a medium for you and a small for your wife.
Will these work on the new Aqualung Slingshots?
LeisurePro S Yes, will fit the Slingshots.
Center post to center post measures 12", though my shoe size is 9 and fin size medium. Will "small" be too tight? Am leaning towards ordering medium.
LeisurePro S I would go with the small. The straps have quite a bit of stretch to them, so I don't think they will be too tight since 12 minus a 1/2 inch is 11 1/2 which is in the small range.
Hi, will these spring straps work on my Cressi pro light fins? Thank you.
Not for sure. Check out these
Hi, I'm looking to purchase these spring straps. The sizing table in the description seems wrong, I measure just over 16" from post to post around the back of my heel, the measurement you reference in the table is for the spring itself, if you gave a reference of buckle lenghts and such I could work this out, however based on available info how do i do it?
LeisurePro S Subtract 1-2 inches from your post to post measurment and order within that size range. So in your case, I would go with the XL.
I have a pair of Poseidon Forza L/XL fins. My shoe size is 10 to 11. I measured from the molded attachment pin center on each side of the fin with the shoe or, boot inserted into the fin. I come up with 14.5 to 15.5 depending on the shoe or boot I use. Would this fin spring strap work, and if so what size do you thing would work for me.
LeisurePro S I would with a L. The lengths listed are the length of the strap without the spring expanded, so a L should expand to fit your range of boot sizes.
will these fit my atomic split fin? and if so, what size should I purchase if my show size is 6.5?
LeisurePro S Atomic Spring Fin Strap SKU: MNTFAS size small
will theese work on the Tusa Xpert Zoom fins?
LeisurePro S Yes they will fit.
Will these work with the Oms Slipstream Monoprene Fins?
My shoes size is 9.5,wich size strap will be my?
Will these fit my Mares Avanti Quattro fins?
I'm confused about sizing. My fin strap measures 13" tip to tip and 9" pin to pin. I wear a size 10 shoe and my fins are size L. What size should I order?
LeisurePro S Medium, 12 1/2" should work well.
I measure the sizing at 14" on a TUSA Liberator Fin. Will these (or any) spring strap work on these fins?
LeisurePro S These should work well.
hi, is that spring (AQUEZR) compatible with the MARES X3 ?
do these straps come as a pair? or do they come induvidually?
LeisurePro S It comes in Pairs
Hi, will these fit my Oceanic Vortex V12 Split fin? http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/CategoryID_956/Context_954/Sort_Stock/DescSort_0/Filter_1%3d308/OCNFV12.html?Hit=1 Or should I perhaps buy these? http://www.leisurepro.com/Catalog.aspx?op=ItemDisplay&ProductID=AQUEZP
