I don't understand the confusion here. The adapter they sent me does just what the description says. It adapts the larger air2 HOSE [an add-on after purchase] connected to your BCD to the smaller standard inflator VALVE that comes with the BCD when you purchase it..

Lets get this cleared up once and for all: This device connects to the Air2 power inflation / regulator and allows it to connect to a standard BC inflater hose.
It is a good device that does exactly what you expect. Keep in mind, though, that if you use this to connect an Air2 to a standard BC inflater hose, then you _will not_ get enough air to use the Air2 regulator.
Does your dive regulator have a large Scubapro Air ll or TUSA Duo-Air Breathable Inflator Hose? If so you know that a standard inflator hose will not work with it. If you travel to exotic locations for diving you might not be able to acquire a large fitting replacement hose for your breathable inflator device, rendering your BCD inoperable. This adapter will allow you to use your breathable inflator with BCD on a standard inflator hose.
Just plug this adapter into the end of a standard inflator hose and your Scuba Pro Air ll or TUSA Duo-Air (see SKU's: SCPA2GYR, TBTIR3 and TBTSS02) will function as an Inflator and will provide minimal air flow for breathing. Note: The smaller valve design of a standard BCD inflator hose cannot deliver the required volume of air-flow required to properly supply the breathable inflator in an out-of-air situation. Breathable are will be delivered to the breathable inflator but will be at a much lower volume due the smaller orifice of the standard inflator hose. Adapter is made from durable chrome plated brass for strength and long service life. The Adapter makes a great save-a-dive-kit item. Adapter is easy to install and is intended for low pressure use only below 200 psi (13.8 bars).

No. The reason is that because the air2 is a secondary source of air everything needs to be bigger so that the breather gets enough gas. If there were an adapter it would limit the amount of air. You may notice that your loss hose to the air2 is a bigger hose than a regular inflator hose. Hope this helps.

Actually, this is it! I have an air 2 and bought one just in case I have to use my air 2 setup on a rental BCD in case I have a BCD failure.
The male end plugs into a standard connector and the female will take your (larger) Air2

This adapter plugs into a Air2 large female quick connect and reduces it to a standard female BC quick connect?

Yes it does. I have not actually used it purchased it to have because I was caught unawares with borrowed gear. It snapped right on.

I have an Air2, a standard LP hose, a SeaQuest AirSource and the LP hose that goes with it. This adapter fit nothing that I own. I had to send the adapter back and honestly have no clue what it fits.

Any update on this product? I have a Scubapro with an Air2 inflator that has a large fitting. Is this the right adapter to use to hook up a regular LP hose QD to?

I am looking for something to click on to an existing Low pressure hose ( for a standard inflator ) that would allow me to connect to my Air 2 inflator. Is this for that purpose ?
