Make sure to re-seal the package or they go bad quick in the tropics.

Hoe to reuse the Munchers!

Reuse and get them blue again! Buy a household desiccant refill, open it and vacuum-seal the MM's in for a week or two. Works like a charm!

Eats Humidity Kills Moisture:
Moisture can destroy the finest cameras in the world. Not water mind you, but just the dampness of the diving environment. You can't see it, but it's there, and it can cause damage to your equipment unknowingly at an extremely high cost to you. SeaLife's Moisture Muncher Packs absorb moisture to prevent fogging and corrosion of your valuable electronics and cameras. Use inside an airtight storage case or container to create a perfect dry environment for your valuable items. Each package contains ten (10) 0.53 oz. (1.5 g) capsules containing color indicating silica gel. When gel turns from blue to pink, full absorption has been reached. Silica gel packs are a great save-a-dive kit item. Always carry some spares so you will always have fresh dry absorbent silica packs on hand.

This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

darrick c  Hello Sherice, there is 10 in a pack.
KRISTY S  There are 10.
BRUCE L  I bought 4 of these and 3 were already pink when I opened them What should I do?
darrick c  Hello Bruce, contact our sales team at 1.800.347.2822 select line 1 with your order number and please send picture of those to info@scuba.com of those.
DAVE E  Does this product come in a resealable bag so that you can use them over a several day period? Or once you open it do you need to use all the capsules right away?
CHRISTOPHER W  The moisture munchers that I have gotten from Leisure Pro in the past have always had a resealable pouch.
ROBERT C  Yes, the bag is resealable. I also place the bag insixe a ziplock bag.
JEROME H  after I opened them I used extra seal bag and they kept for more than a year
PATTI S  When we purchased it, it came in a resealable bag like a "baggies"
LAURA X  Yes, the pouch they come in is resealable. We only dive or snorkel 2-3 times a year, so they actually last until the expiration date.
MICHAEL D  Yes, it does come in resealable bag. I typically use a bag of the capsules over a period of several years, and they last fine.
Shopper  Does this capsules fit the DC2000?
GERALD C. F  Yes
DARCY I  I have a SeaLife 1400 and they fit. I dont know about the DC2000. You can check with SeaLife on their website.
Shopper  Do I need to remove the thin plastic film that covers the capsule first or I can just place the capsule with the thin plastic covered right in the slot?
Steve S  The capsules are ready to go as is. You just remove the capsule from the bag and put it in your camera housing.
JEROME P  Dear Shopper, The moisture muncher capsules you bought are filled with crystals that absorb moisture from the air, and as they do so will lose their blue color and become pink-ish, indicating they are no longer capable of absorbing any more moisture. They are sealed in a plastic film to prevent their exposure to atmospheric moisture before they're purchased. It's important that you remove that film just prior to placing them in the camera housing or they will stay nice and blue, but not be doing anything for you! Just be careful in removing the film so that you don't damage the capsule itself, and let the crystals leak out into your housing. The capsules are pretty robust and it shouldn't be too hard to get the film off. I hope this helps. Good luck with your underwater photography! Jerry
RON B  The capsule goes into the slot as is. In other words, the blue crystal stay inside the capsule in the same way that you don't break open the capsule medicine that comes in capsule form. Hopefully, this answers your question.
