Shopper Do your fingers easily fit with size large 7mm gloves?
WESLEY W I think your finger would fit pretty easily but it might be hard fumbling with the snaps with gloves on.
WESLEY P I have only used 3mm gloves, but there was plenty of space. Should not be a problem with thicker gloves
JAMES C The shears are the standard EMT type scissors, which have roughly the same size finger holes as large sewing scissors. I would recommend trying your 7mm gloves with a pair of large sewing scissors to get a rough idea of fit. In addition to the glove thickness, hand size is going to be a critical factor in answering this question.
From my own experience, with Large sized 7mm Men's gloves, I have no problems operating the scissors, and can easily manipulate the snaps holding the knife and scissors in place.
ARTHUR D Large hands in 7mm gloves don't usually "easily fit" anywhere. However, I would use these surgical scissors over a dive knife anytime. They will easily cut through wire, sheet metal, monofilament, and just about anything you will encounter underwater. I don't use dive knives anymore. I have been wearing these types of scissors for many years and I swear by them. It would probably benefit you to purchase the item and try it with your gloves. If it doesn't work for you, I'm sure Leisure Pro would accept a return.
DAVID A Work great on 5 mm. i would think they would work fine on 7mm. Great product.
BARTON S I use it in cold water diving in the Northwest. I wear drygloves not wet gloves so I'm sure you would have no problem getting your fingers to fit in the finger holes with 7mm gloves.
