I am a commercial diver and I go through a lot of gloves I bought these hopeing to find a unexpensive pair of durable gloves. I am 5'8" 160lbs with an average hand size and I could not get the medium size on my hand so I ordered the large which still barely fit so I ordered the X-large the finger girth and length was the same size on all 3 sizes they only made the palm a little bigger. The seems on the pair a kept ripped out very quickly. The material itself held up well but because they did a poor job of designing the shape of the glove they just come apart at the seam. because the gloves fit so tight they restrict blood flow to your fingures which will cause your hand to cramp and become cold in a rec or commercial dive.

I think these gloves were desgined to fit very tightly around your fingers; don't know why? For me, my fingers got cold due to the blood circulation being suppressed. I normally wear medium size gloves but exchanged it twice, for a large then the extra large. While the palm area was bigger, the fingers fit the same as the medium, large or extra large. I bought 2 pairs, one for my dive buddy who said the fingers where tighter than he expected but it still worked for him. I asked him if his hands were cold; his reply was yes but the water temp was 44F. My old 5mm gloves keep my hands warmer than these. I'm going to end up using them for handling crabs, or fishing activities instead of diving.
