This bag is a versatile airtight and waterproof bag that fits well inside medium sized backpacks and assault packs. It comes standard with the oral purge/inflate valve. All seams are Radio Frequency (RF) Welded. RF welding uses a combination of pressure and radio frequency waves to speed up molecules which realign to bond multiple layers of fabric into a single piece of material. All stitching on handles and buckles are in compliance with Mil-Spec stitching for added strength, durability and quality.
The Airtight Zip dry Closure, is similar to a heavy-duty freezer bags zipper. It locks shut, keeping out moisture with an airtight, watertight seal, even when submerged and under pressure. The seal has proven to be watertight to over 300 ft (100 meters). There are two sizes to choose from a small and a medium. The small measures 17 x 10 x 6.5 in. (43.2 x 25.4 x 16.5 cm) with a volume of 800 cubic inches (13 liters) and weighs 1 lb. 7 oz (652 g). The medium measures 22 x 15 x 8 in. (55.9 x 38.1 x 20.3 cm) with a volume of 2,500 cubic inches (41 liters) and weighs 2 lbs 5 oz (1,049 g).
There is a lightweight version of both size bags and they weigh 1 lb. 4 oz (567 g) and 2 lbs (907.2 g) respectively. All small bags have an opening size of 17 in. (43.2 cm) and the medium size 16.5 in. (41.9 cm). The bags are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
