Shopper Galileo Luna Hoseless Wrist Dive Computer is ready to be used for?
BRIAN P I'm thinking 90% a "No"....but hey, it's pretty inexpensive anyway, so win-win.
DIRK P I have 4 separate Uwatec computers. I make more than 100 dives per year. Both recreational and technical. My computers go everywhere I (and my family) go. They take a beating, so we end up replacing all the protective covers at least twice a year. They are a little more expensive than they should be (we think), but seeing and protecting your computer while it protects your life is priceless. Make sense?
JACQUELINE T You seem to be asking, "Is this Snap-On Protector ready for use on the Galileo Luna?"
I'm sorry, no. The Galileo Luna and Galileo Sol use a different protector.
STEVE C Not quite sure what question is - I have used the Smart Tec version of this in past - did not like it.
It is way too expensive and very difficult to actually use - when the battery needs replacing, you have to send the computer to Uwatec to get this done.
I do a lot of Tech Diving - rebreathers and Trimix - which is why I bought the Uwatec. This computer is pretty useless for Tech Diving.
There are several other types of computers that are considerably better than this thing for that kind of diving.
