Brad T I have an issue with some masks pressing on the bridge of my nose, causing discomfort particularly after the dive. My atomic frameless mask works well for this but I am looking for a very low volume spear mask. ANy input would be great - anyone with similar issues?
JEFFREY G I search for low volume masks to use for work because we work in high current conditions (2.5-3.0 kt) and tried this one as a replacement for the aqualung Falco that I normally use. I have to put it on pretty tight in these conditions and this mask does press on the bridge of my nose pretty bad. However, I used it during static dives with no current and wore it looser and it preformed very well with no discomfort. So for normal recreational use I would say it should work fine. It clears very easily and has a great field of view.
GRAYSON M The Micro is the best. I am a competitive freediver and dive instructor and recommend this mask to anyone of any size. Go with a black skirt to prevent glare.

CARLOS R I do spearfishing, I own this mask and the only thing I can say about this mask is that is a great mask, really comfortable, low volume, plenty space for big nose and easy access to do the decompression, another detail, the field of vision in incredible wide. No doubt is a great mask the best I ever had.
Brad T Thanks for your answers. I will let you know how it fits.
ELIAS H I used to have the same problem. I can tell you that the micromask is the most comfortable mask that I have ever used. The plastic creates such a perfect seal on the face that there is no need to tighten it much at all, it pretty much floats on your face. I highly recommend it !!
WILLIAM B I actually have three of these. I dive with one as well as both of my kids. This is the most comfortable mask I have worn in 16 years of diving.
JONATHAN M I completely love mine! I have tried on the Atomic frameless mask and it felt nice, but I was not able to squeeze my nose with my fingers to equalize due to the shape of the Atomic.
I don't have that problem with the Aqualung. The only minor issue I have is that it is a little snug on the bottom of my nose (where my nostrils are) and if the mask strap is set too high on the back of my head, it irritates the bottom of my nose.
I have the all black model (which I highly recommend as it cuts down on glare) and I almost can't see it at all during the dive. I have had other masks which really cut down on peripheral vision, but this one may have the best overall vision out there. One thing though, it is very low volume, subsequently my wife doesn't like it because her eyelashes touch the glass! I don't have that problem though!
MARK L I own both the atomic frameless and the micromask. The micromask is great and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
