JEFFREY M No, it does not float. I don't think any of their strobes float, but this one is very rugged and bright. I have used the regular strobes and the bulb breaks after awhile this LED one is going on two years and going strong.
David C How do you turn the Tektite 3500XL on (It's not clear in the picture)? Does it have a on/off switch or do you have to twist the end?
