This knife rocks for the money, comfortable, a bit heavy and case is a bit bulky, but is a great knife, once you get used to it. Cuts really good, have used it twice to untangle myself from fishing line, and boy it's sharp, love the grip, it's big enough to hold with gloves, but not bulky enough when w/o gloves. My only beef with this knife is that from a 2 tank dive, by the time i got home (about 3 hrs later) there were signs of rust on the blade, so what i did was sand it down, WD40 the heck out of it, and now when i dive, i sink it in fresh water on the way home, and so far so good.

There are some manufacturing defects in the handle of the knife,I don't now if that will affect the knives longevity, also the blade is not as sharp as my blue reef knives, and the blade started to rust after one dive, good stainless doesn't rust. But other than these small problems I really do like this knife, it is a good design,it fits my hand really well,
I like the sheath design, and the knives apperance..

    Great Knife for the money

Comments about Tusa Imprex Knife, Blunt (FK-220):

The only fault I could find besides not knowing how well the metallurgy will stand up to corrosion was the cheap plastic insert used to thread the removable grip nut on to that locks the blade to the grip. If it breaks the knife is useless because the handle won't stay on. Durability remains to be seen. It has a good sheath lock and is not likely to be jolted loose.

Comments about Tusa Imprex Knife, Blunt (FK-220):

I strap my knife to my outside calf. The straps on this are just long enough for around my calf muscle and the other is quite long for just above my ankle. I'm not a big guy (5'9" / 180lbs) Legs are average. It works so I still gave it a high score but I feel like it was designed to be worn somewhere else. Luckily I dive mostly in cold mid-west waters (7mil suite) so it works for me, but I'm afraid it may be too loose near my ankle when I go to warm 1.5 mil waters. You could rig it up tighther or buy replacement straps. The knife is SOOO good. I'm still a VERY happy diver. :)

My wife, 2 sons, and myself used these while scalloping. Easily accessible even with gloves on and leg straps work well. Very sharp-be careful. make sure you disassemble and oil after saltwater use or they will get some surface rust. Very easy process to disassemble and re-assemble.
