Rickey R Does this regulator have the dry bleed chamber as the previous models?
Do you see a stream of bubbles from the 1st stage ?
JULIA H I am unsure about the previous models as this is my first Sherwood reg but the description does say that. I do see a stream of bubbles from the 1st stage as far as I can remember. I really liked this reg system and am very happy with it.
SUSAN S It does not have the dry bleed feature as in the past - no bubbles, and we own both styles. I would have preferred the older style, but could not find it at this price. My dry bleed style has the Oasis regulator and I would not hesitate to buy it again. On the positive side, we used the new one for about 20 dives in Bonaire and the Florida Keys shortly after purchasing it and it performed perfectly.
rob d I've never noticed the stream of bubbles, but it is a dry bleed. If you havent bought this yet, I also owned the previous magnum. The looks weren't as modern but it breaths better then the latest rendition.
RONALD M I purchased tyhis last fall and used it in the Bahamas in November. The regulator performed very well. I replaced a Sherwood Blizzard from 1980's. As I recall 1st stage did emit bubbles. I do remember I have been very satisfied with the purchase (and the price.) I since bought another at a local dive shop on their recommendation that the regs are "bulletproof" and easy to service. This is the model they use in their rental fleet.
SAFE DIVING!!
