Michael C Yes, that flash works of a basic fiberoptic cable, which means it will work with any camera that has a small built in flash. It will work with the dc1000.
PENNYS A Hello,
I have received the strobe and now waiting for the new tray. Screw was stripped....leisure pro is sending a new one to me.
I called n spoke to someone in the camera section before buying this strobe. He told me it was compatible to my camera. I am having an issue. My camera is a sealife dc1000 with the pro flash already. I wanted to buy this strobe as an addition. The problem is there is nowhere to connect the fiber optic cord to my camera as it is already preoccupied with the other fiber optic cord from the pro flash.
What do I do? I am leaving April 4th on vacation and need this to work.
Please HELP me?
Thank you

Can I mail everything o you and have you put it together for me?
Michael C PENNYS,
The part that the fiberoptic cable runs through will accept 2 cables, you just have to feed them through carefully. The sea & sea probably came with an adapter plug on the end, but to make it work you can just cut it off. Unfortunately we cannot accept your equipment and put it together for you. Its not that hard, so try playing around with it and I am confident you will be able to make it work. If you have any questions you can always give us a call.
