Shopper When mounted on the back of the console, how thick (in inches) is the double stack?
WILLIAM J By adding the compass, you increase the thickness by approximately 3/4 inch. The total thickness with the compass is 2-5/16 inch.
RICHARD J Sadly, I can't find it right now. The compass jammed and stopped working. All the fluid is gone from it and I took it off, put it in a drawer and am trying to forget. I"m back on my old Pelagic (aeris) compass which seems to just keep working. The Suunto was a nice bit of kit but only lasted a short time.
MIKE B 2-3/8 inches from the light grey ring to the other side of my pressure gauge. I'd add that it seems to be a very manageable size - not too big. I used a compass like this, liked it and thus bought my own when I got a new console. good compass.
DON B With the compass mounted directly behind the pressure guage it makes the unit 2 3/8" thick at the hose end and 1 3/8" at the other.
