LeisurePro S Yes, this will work for the Black Diamond. The instillation is fairly simple, requiring only a few simple tools. If you are uncomfortable with the process, your local dive shop should be able to do the instillation in just a few minutes (and hopefully for free!).
Shopper Is this item NITROX compatible?
Shopper Will this alternate airsource work with balanced or over-balanced regs like the Legend, Kronos or Kronos Supreme? Will it work with the Seaquest Diva XLT BCD? Does it replace the BCs normal air filling hose and buttons? Can you manually inflate the BC through this mouthpiece also?
LeisurePro S Alot of those over-balanced regs are for extreme water conditions that spare second stages don't handle very well in general. This will work with these systems, but most likely not as smoothly as with other octos. It will fit on the seaquest BC and replaces the normal filling hose and buttons. And yes, you can manually inflate through it.
Shopper Can this attach to a Dacor Talon BCD ? If not which seems to be the case what similar product will please ?

Shopper I am about to purchase a coldwater 1st/2nd stage (Apex XTX50) and was wondering if this would be a suitable octo - that is, will it work effectively in coldwater? I can't seem to get a definitive answer (even from Aqualung). Thank you.
LeisurePro S I can say this for sure, it is not cold water rated. Octo's in general have a hard time with cold water since they are generally full of water before they are ever used. here is an octo designed for cold water SQTAXTX50O, I know of no air source types that are designed for cold water.
