It would be nice to have some pockets. Very large capacity. Had looked at another bag that was 36" long. Glad I chose this one at 30" as it is huge. Can't imagine having a larger one.

I'm using this bag to keep spare clothes and gear dry when on call outs to disaster areas. The bag is spacious and will keep my stuff dry in extreme conditions.

Used for a long rafting trip. Advertised bag dimensions are accurate, unlike another bag I own. Waterproof except for zipper at top of bag, but velcro cover seals it well for splashes and rain so I had no leakage at all. I assume if it got totally submerged it would leak slowly through the zipper. Packed 4-man tent, tent stakes, two relatively compact sleeping bags, two inflatable sleeping pads, two pairs of extra shoes, and a some smaller items into bag. Carrying straps worked fine with 37lbs of gear packed inside. Survived baggage handlers on round trip plane flight with no damage. Bags at more than 2x the price are probably a little more durable, but this worked well for me and spending more would have been overkill.
