JIM J I purchased theis mask for my 14 yr old son as it is designed to fit a small face. The Scubapro frameless is my favorite and would be my choice for most adults. It fits closer to your face, providing less drag in heavy current as well as low volume.

To meet the needs of the diving community's various builds and features, Scuba Pro continues to improve upon it already noteworthy products, including the Spectra Mini Mask. The Spectra Mini Mask has a Low Internal Profile thanks to its Dual Tempered Glass Lens Design, which Decreases the amount of Surface Area between the Diver's Face and the Mask. Less water between the mask and diver's face means the Spectra Mini is Easier to Clear than Single Lens Masks and many other Dual Lens-Masks.

The Spectra Mini Mask was Designed for Divers with Smaller Faces, making it a great choices for female and younger diving enthusiasts. Mask has a Double Feathered Edge High Quality Silicone Rubber Skirt and Wide Split Style Silicone Rubber Mask Strap that combine to create a Perfect Seal on the Face. The Dual Lens Design allows for Maximum Underwater Vision and the Intake of Light. Mask is equipped with an Easy-to-Reach One-Hand Nose Pocket for Ear Equalization which can be utilized even when wearing thick gloves. The Mask is equipped with Easy to Adjust Swivel Buckle System.

I love this mask. I was surprised to be buying a mini, but after having a problem equalizing every other mask I've ever owned, it makes perfect sense.The silicone is silky smooth and impressive as well. The bad news is that I paid [$] for this mask on Grand Cayman, the good news is that I had some great diving and no worries equalizing at 120 ft. I did have the blue paint on the rim chip on the first time out, but other than that it is perfect. I can't wait to do more diving now that I finally don't have to worry about equalizing!!!!!!!

The only issue I have ever had diving was when a mask leaks. Drives me crazy! I have a small face and this mask fit perfectly. There were many dives on our last Cozumel trip where I did not have to clear my mask even once during the dive! Would definitely recommend to a person with that smaller, hard to fit face.

I tried this mask on (along with many, many others) in a local shop. Nothing came close to the amazing fit of the Spectra 2. I guess I have a "smaller face," as SCUBAPRO puts it. I used it for a half hour last weekend in Morrison Springs, FL, and didn't have to clear it once. No fog. Try it on locally, then buy it for less than half the price from Leisurepro.
