I don’t work for any of these guys I would never have written this if this wasn't so outrageous.

On December 31st 2007 around noon while diving at Octopus Hole in Hood Canal(Hoodsport,Washington) I lost my divelight while I was adjusting my camera.
I went back to look for it but was running LOW on air and had to give up, we looked a while.. ugh I hate losing stuff.

I had a DAN gear tag on it and figured someone would ultimately find it but I wasn't sure if they'd bother to call me.

On January 6th 2008 back in Cleveland,Oh. I received a phone call from a woman who said her husband had just found my light.
She was wondering when I lost it.
I told her a week ago.
There was a long long pause, I could hear other people talking.
She said her husband found my light.. he found it because the light was still on.

The water temp. was 43 degrees. and this light was still ON 6 days later!!!
I would normally use a lot of language here they wont let me use.

THIS IS AN AWESOME DIVELIGHT!

You would never believe how bright it was when I got it back. Check out the photo.

I bought two Miniwave LED's for a deep dive and before actually using the lights, one of the lights "stop lever," which keeps the light from being accidently turned on broke in half. The other light malfunctioned from the inside at the screw which connects the lever that toggles the off, dim, and bright switch. Called Pricetion Tec and the service rep was so rude. I had to argue with him to take the lights back and replace them because of poor construction. As of now, Im still waiting for my new lights to arrive.

Comments about Princeton Tec, 150 Lumens Miniwave LED Dive Light:

I am very happy with the Princeton Tec 150. I use it for daytime diving to look under ledges. Great at night.

Switch was broken during transit and Princeton replaced light-head without any hassle.

If I had to replace the light, I would get the 337 Lumens

Strong medium spread light

Comments about Princeton Tec, 150 Lumens Miniwave LED Dive Light:

Bright light, and in a beam pattern that is a little wider than the usual narrow beam of halogen lights I have.

Lock on switch had a tendency go into lock position when I switch from off to low, requiring a further unlock. Probably due to finger sliding the locking mechanism forward as I flip the on/off switch.

Not as fancy as the UK in LED cooling or current regulation. I used eneloop batteries in C adapters and by the 2nd night dive, it became unusably weak.

If cover not installed properly with all switches in alignment, light would not turn on.

Comments about Princeton Tec, 150 Lumens Miniwave LED Dive Light:

After reading the reviews I still bought 2 of these lights but we were carefull with the switch. However the design is very poor and we soon broke the safety lock on both and the internal toggle that operates the light on 1 also. Have not sent in for repair but it doesn't sound like I'll have much luck getting positive results. I think I'd take my chances elsewhere.

Comments about Princeton Tec, 150 Lumens Miniwave LED Dive Light:

Bought this because it was $10 cheaper than my UK C4LED, which I dropped on the bottom in 200' of water in Indonesia. I put some new rechargeable batteries in it to cycle them a few times, turned it on, and put it in a bowl of water in my kitchen so it wouldn't overheat as the batteries ran down. Four hours later, I opened it up and dumped out two tablespoons of water! NEVER had a leaky light before. Combined with the bogus lock on the switch, this light is a definite FAIL.
