Shopper Does this hood have a valve to purge trapped air?
CALOGERO C It doesnt need one...
JOE D No hood valve but I never needed one. This is the BEST hooded vest I ever used. I dive in the fall in New England and my last dive is mid-late November. Last dive the water temp was 49 degrees or less, my buddy said it was 44 degrees. I use that hooded vest only with no other hood. Cold is never a problem.
MICHAEL R No, it doesn't have a valve, but it does have small vent holes that allow trapped air to escape--I have never had a problem with this.
MICHAEL E L The one I bought in 2007 has no valve, but is easier to let out air than my older one because the fabric is stretchy. And easier to put on. I like it. MEL
NELL M Sorry, this was a gift that my brother had asked for. I know nothing about it.
