I'm not a professional, but I started doing organized diving in about 1957 and by late 59 was teaching scuba diving at the YMCA. So, I may not be a gifted diver, but I have strong opinions on what I like.

I had an eighth inch vest with hood that was very soft and stretchy, like a rubber balloon, for about the first 10 or 15 years that I owned it. There was then a dry spell of about 10 years for I did not need it, only doing warm water diving. When I got back in cool water was like trying to put on a cardboard box. This vest reminded me far too much of that cardboard box. It bent easily but it sure did not stretch very much.

I bought it in a hurry online for an extended trip to Turkey and Greece. I will try the dive shops here in Turkey for something that I can handle before I buy it. I will give Leisure Pro A+ for making it easy for me to get the RMA online in the middle of the night instead of having to call and wait on hold to talk to somebody during office hours. The refund came quickly. The purchase was easy. The shipping on time. Everything wonderful, except that I need to buy a vest that has no fabric involved. The fabric always seems to dramatically reduce the stretching ability. No offense intended, but it was useless for my purposes.

Item worked as expected, especially for the price. On my last dive trip to Hawaii I used this over my 2/3 suit after mulitple dives and it worked great. The LDS we were diving with was a dealer for Pinnacle and a lot of the crew used this same vest over thier 5mm suit.

This is my second purchase of this product, this time I purchased the 5MM. I've had and used the 3MM for several years during the summer months without an issue. High quality, attention to detail, comfortable, easy on and off. I've had several other vest and this is without a question the best of the bunch. I purchased the 5MM hood to extend my Florida diving season into the winters months and for a planned trip to the Galapagos

Very warm vest and hood. Works well for added warmth under a 5 mm full suit. A bit difficult (tight) to remove wet. Otherwise would recommend this hooded vest
