Needed a thicker hood for 56 degree water and this worked great in combination with a new 7mm single piece suit with rear zipper. Was worried that the skirt would be too small but it never pulled out and kept me warm. The face opening may be a bit large if you are used to slipping your mask under the face seal and enjoying more face coverage. But it was convenient not to deal with the skirt and it stayed warm.

No air trapped, no water sloshing around. Good fit- not too tight and trimable face seal lets you cut it around your facial features- Good deal!

This is a well made hood. I have had no issues with it any of the times that I have used it. I like the fact that there is not a lot of extra extra material to cover the chest, back and shoulders. The hood is just long enough that it says tucked into my wetsuit.

I returned this item. The face seal would have required so much trimming around the mouth that I would have had to cut beyond the seam. Adjusting it lower on my face was not an option, because of the pre-shaped chin.
Otherwise,it was easy to put on and off, felt comfortable and not constricting.
Probably a good product, but depending on your head shape---hard to tell without trying it on.
