Shopper I am going to be surfing on long island during the winter. It will be my first time, so i want to be warm, but able to move. Is this the right suit for me??
LeisurePro S Well, warmth obviously is super important and depending on the water temperatures were you will be surfing, I think you will definitely need a 7mm suit (good for temperatures down to app. 55 degrees). Some options you have for gaining flexibility include looking into a 6/7mm suit which would be 7mm in the chest/core area and 6mm in the arms and legs making movement a bit easier. Or, if you think your arms and legs would be fine, you could look into layering. Get a 5mm suit and them put a 3mm or 5mm vest/jacket on top so you would have a thick layer around your core and lots of flexibility in your limbs. This Pinnacle suit is super warm but not the most flexible. Hope this helps!
