Comments about All Oceanic BCD & Regulator Package:

This package is just right if you're looking to own your own gear, and stop renting. These Oceanic products are of great construction and design. The BC is your basic no frills, easy to use, fully adjustable BC. It came equipped with the QLR3 weight system with removable pockets included, not as an add on accessory. The FDX10 is a great mid to upper level, sealed, first stage as is the Delta 4 second stage. Included octo functions well, as advertised. The reg bag is okay, just wish it had a little more padding and wasn't as flimsy feeling.
I did have a little hiccup with the VEO 100 computer, however. Upon turning it on for the first time, I had a flashing low battery icon (75% or less life left). After setting the time, date and personal preferences, I no longer had the low battery indication. On my first dive with it I again had the low battery indication and I found out that it reset the date and time to default. It didn't track my surface interval for my second dive that day either. Not being able to get a new battery for the next day's 3 tank dive, I resolved myself to using dive tables instead and use the computer for my depth and bottom time only. Wonders of all wonders, everything recorded properly to include SI, No Fly time and Desaturation time post dive. I'm still planning on replacing the battery before my next dive though. Other than that, it's a good computer with all the basic features you need. It is not, however, Nitrox compatible and I wish it came with back-lighting. I'm planning on getting another computer once I become Nitrox certified and will use this as a backup.

This product is a great value. One thing not mentioned is that the regulator has dvt and the bcd is actually a oceanic ocean pro qlr 1000d without weight pockets. The weight pockets are a $20 accessory. The regulator bag is also of great quality. Over all you save at minimum $500.
